BOI- Monthly Curation Reward Update & Distribution of Delegator's Reward for Nov' 2020

Since the announcement of the Best of India community, we invited delegations from the newcomers as well as from those who seek investment opportunities through delegations.

In the month of Nov 2020, the total number of delegators stands at 17, with a total effective SP- 31266 as against 13 delegators, total effective SP- 11006 in the month of Oct 2020. So we are growing each day, each week, each month. And our continuous effort is slowly unlocking our potential as a better curation management team alongside building an active & vibrant community.

Best of India gives 100% curation reward to its delegators. The APR is also quite competitive.

So before going into the details of the delegator reward, I would like to express my gratitude to all the delegators on behalf of the BOI community for helping us to build this community.

In the month of Nov'2020, we keep on receiving delegations, consolidated to @bestofindia. So here is the list of the Delegators, SP, date of Delegation.

Please note that for those who keep on adding delegation more than once, the figures as given in this table are to be read as cumulative delegated SP.

As different delegators have delegated on different dates, we have calculated the Effective Monthly Weightage of SP for each delegator.

From the above table consider the case of @neerajkr03,

The delegation by @neerajkr03 at the start of the month (1st Nov)was 2607 SP, he delegated an additional 1416 SP on 3rd Nov(Cumulative 4023 SP), 643 SP(Cumulative 4666 SP) on 12th Nov, 350 SP(Cumulative 5016 SP) on 13th Nov 2020 & 596 SP(Cumulative 5612 SP) on 22nd Nov 2020.

So 2607 SP remains in curation effect for 30 days, 1416 SP remains in curation effect for 28 days, 643 SP remains in curation effect for 19 days, 350 SP remains curation effect for 18 days, 596 SP remains in curation effect for 9 days in @bestofindia account in the month of Nov 2020.

=> Effective Monthly Weightage of SP-Delegated by @neerajkr03 to BOI in Nov 2020= [(2607 * 30)+(1416 * 28)+(643 * 19)+(350 * 18)+(596 * 9)]/30
= 4724.63 SP

Please note that the @bestofindia account has its own SP as well, as it is receiving a 10% benefactor reward, contributed by the three CRs from India. It also generates the author's reward from time to time through various contest announcements, updates, etc. For that, we have taken the median value of the SP for the @bestofindia account as the Effective Monthly Weightage of SP in this calculation.

At the start of the month (1st Nov), the SP of @bestofindia was 1762 SP and at the end of the month (30th Nov), it was 3926 SP.

So the Effective Monthly Weightage of SP for @bestofindia in Nov 2020= 1762+((3926-1762)/2)= 2844 SP

The total curation reward generated in the month of Nov 2020 is 628.70 SP.

So after calculating the Effective Monthly weightage of SP for each delegator, we calculated the percentage share of each of them out of the total curation reward generated, and finally, we obtained the curation reward earned by the individual Delegators through the BOI community.

Based on Nov 2020 curation reward, the projected APR stands at 24.12%. That's impressive. In the previous month, it was 19.66%. We always try our best to maintain good curation efficiency, but our objective is primarily focused on helping the newcomers, curating them, guiding them, ultimately building the community. Keeping that objective intact, we also strategize the use of SP to make the curation efficient & competitive.

We have already distributed the delegator rewards to the respective delegators as per the status indicated in the sheet(except @sapwood @neerajkr03 @rishabh99946). The pending status will receive their Delegator's reward on 14th Nov 2020.
