Trip to Kabini.

Yes, this new year I did a trip to Kabini, The Peepal Tree is a Homestay with row houses located on the Backwaters of the river Kabini.

I booked the tickets 5 days prior to the trip from Booking.com and it cost me around 30,000 rs including GST.

On the 30th night, we did our packing and kept all the required items like clothes, camera, camera stand and etc.,

31st Morning we started at around 6:30 AM, we took the Nice road which is one of the best roads in Bangalore.

On the way, we stopped a couple of times to have our Breakfast and Tea and yes it was raining heavily that morning. So it took much time to reach our destination.

We reached the Peepal tree around 1:30 PM and as we were tired we took bath and went to have our Lunch, in Lunch they had a buffet in which there were multiple options for both veg and Non-veg.

After having our lunch we came back to our cottage and decided to sleep for a while.

After resting for around an hour or so we went towards the backwater and for a Boat ride which was included in the trip. My god the ride was so amazing and was so relaxing and I never had this type of experience in my life.

The boat ride took around 30 mins and we really enjoyed it.

After boating, we came back and sat near the pool to enjoy the weather and the scenery. The scenery was breathtaking and we took a couple of pictures over there.

At night around 8:00 PM, there was a tribal dance arranged, we dressed up for the evening and went to watch the Tribal Dance, The tribal dance was amazing and we also danced a bit with them.

After the Tribal dance they arranged a table for us to enjoy the rest of our evening, we started to have our drinks and for the New Year celebrations, we danced like crazy that evening.

Celebrating the New Year we went to our room and slept off.

The next day morning we woke up around 8:00 AM, the wind was chilled and breezy, we went to have our breakfast, we had Idli, Dosa, and Sambhar in Breakfast.

After a while, as it was sunny we decided to hop in the Swimming Pool, got ready with our costumes, and jumped inside the pool. It was so fun to be in the Pool after a very long time as after the lockdown swimming pools are closed for public
use, In our apartment also swimming pool is restricted. We also had beer inside the Swimming pool and relaxed.

Later that evening we went sightseeing and to other areas nearby The Peepal Tree. We also went to one of the famous Lord Shiva Temple and later watched the sunset. I forgot to carry my 55-300mm lens so could not click the clear image on the smaller version of the lens.

After sightseeing, we came back and had our evening tea at the resort and went towards the backwaters to chill out.

If you are planning to go to Kabini, do carry a good camera, a stand, medicines such as gastric, paracetamol, Digene and etc., according to your need and health condition because nearby there is no medical store.

The next day as we had to check out from the Resort, I checked the vitals of the car washed the headlights and rear glass, and started towards Bangalore.

One the way to Bangalore we took a couple of halts and did shopping also at the organic store and Channapatnam which is famous for handmade toys.

We reached home at around 9:00 PM, had our dinner, and slept off.
