SO HE LEFT ALL

27 AFTER THESE THINGS HE [Jesus] WENT OUT AND SAW A TAX COLLECTOR NAMED LEVI [Matthew], sitting at the tax office. AND HE SAID TO HIM, “FOLLOW ME.”
28 SO HE LEFT ALL, ROSE UP, AND FOLLOWED HIM [Jesus]."

Whoever would follow Christ Jesus should know that he or she had to leave all. Some could not leave all, whatever they are doing, thus, they could not be what God wanted them to be.
There is a call of God on some people's lives, but because they could not leave all or they are unwilling to leave all, the call of God on their lives is not answered, or put on a hold, and they are unfulfilled in life.
What is fulfilment?
a. Fulfilment is found when you discover the purpose or plan of God for your life and you run with it.
b. It is the actualization of the purpose or plan of God for your life as an individual believer.

Levi also known as Matthew left all, rose up, and followed Christ Jesus immediately (Luke 5:28). If I may ask:
a. What have you left for the sake of Christ and His Kingdom?
b. And If you are yet to leave anything, What are you willing to leave for the sake of God's work or the call of God on your life?
One of the things that would endear you to God, or cause you to be His beloved, is your willingness and obedience to do whatever He wanted you to do.
If God is interested in using you, but you are not yieldable; you may not receive His favour in whatever else you set to do afterwards. Know that, God's interest in you is a sign that His grace is deposited in your life; thus, He would want you to offer yourself as a sacrifice for His Use:
"SO THEN, MY FRIENDS, BECAUSE OF GOD'S GREAT MERCY TO US I APPEAL TO YOU: OFFER YOURSELVES AS A LIVING SACRIFICE TO GOD, DEDICATED TO HIS SERVICE AND PLEASING TO HIM. THIS IS THE TRUE WORSHIP THAT YOU SHOULD OFFER" (Romans 12:1 Good News Translation).
Remember, If you yielded to be used by God, you would not regret you did.

One of the signs that God's hand is on your life to be used of Him is, whatever you do spiritually, or get involved in concerning the ministry work, It prospers or succeeds in your hand. Whereas, you may see yourself toiling or struggling in any other secular thing you set to do or lay your hand to do.
This is one of the indications that God is saying No to your secular work, that what you have done there is enough. If Levi, Matthew, was not prompt in obeying as he was called by Christ Jesus; whatever else he did in that place of work thereafter would be with toiling.
And If you are already in the ministry work; in most cases, when the ministry work is sledging, drudging or plodding; It is because you are not able to understand God's mind—what He is saying to you at that phase of your ministry life or work.
