BEING PERSECUTED FOR THE FAITH
BEING PERSECUTED FOR THE FAITH
"THEY will put you out of the synagogues; yes, THE TIME IS COMING THAT WHOEVER KILLS YOU WILL THINK THAT HE OFFERS GOD SERVICE."
John 16:2 (NKJV)
Comment: Some of the things that the believers passed through might look strange, at times, to them, but a number of these things Jesus had already spoken about them before He departed this world.
Being persecuted, ostracized, should not be new to a believer; because Jesus had already spoken about it. This Bible passage attested to it; that believers would be hated, persecuted, oppressed, and whatever, because of their faith in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 3:12).
Because there are many so-called believers who live a compromised life; standing for God, the truth of God's Word, and being persecuted for it, now looks strange to many (1 Peter 4:12-14). Whereas this should not be strange because we are already told in the Scriptures about this.
Whatever you might be going through presently, because of your faith in Christ Jesus, such should not be a thing of concern. Take solace or comfort in God, Christ Jesus, and through the Holy Spirit the Comforter who resides on the inside of you. Be steadfast in the Faith. Peace.
