Heavy duty | Number of injured US police officers increases

Over 7,500 officers have been injured in the line of duty this year, according to the NYPD, which makes it nearly 50% more compared to the last year's numbers, as the work of police officers becomes more dangerous in the US. Needles to say that many of the injuries were sustained during this summer's anti-police-brutality protests that gripped the country.
