I Wanna Feel - Ed Privat
I wanted to present the 2nd song of my second album "AImée" released in April 2020
This album would not have been possible without this blockchain (and the previous one) and most importantly without its people.
The constant encouragements throughout the years really helped taking my craft to the next level, and for this I am very thankful.
I remember like it was yesterday, when I release what was at the time a demo version of this song, with only one verse, one chorus, and found extremely useful feedbacks from the community, the cryptos at the time were the extra icing on the cake :D (we do love our cake, sprinkled with some crack)

To be honest, I was jus trying to find an original song to post on dsound at the time, and found this song that has been lost for few years in an old hard drive and was completely forgotten.
I liked the heavy laid back beat, and the simplicity of the lyrics, and decided to write a second verse and an end to the song last year, for my second album. I produced it, and mixed it, d-vine mastered it beautifully.
I always imagined a psychedelic music video, as the song reminds me of old school funk in the like of George Clinton, Funkadelic, Sly and the Family Stones.
The original song had a weird piano solo in the middle, I do all my production work by click and never used a midi piano.
It was very counter productive as the solo was sounding very robotic. I replaced it by a guitar solo, played live, but wasn't happy with the result.
What I ended up doing, is starting the solo with the last chords of the song, and moving backward. Then I reversed the audio wave of the solo. Does it make any sense to someone?
If I would have to explain that to someone out loud, I am not even sure I would capable of doing so.
You will notice that on the Youtube link, there's only a very few amount of views, as I didn't bother promoting it, thinking it would be an instant success. Not!
After releasing the album, I had to find a job right after, so I didn't really have time for even be in an artistic mindset.
I left my job in December 2020, and already wrote 2 new songs, good songs. It's always a matter of timing and mind space. Let's go 2021!
