Bringing Institutional Investors to Bitcoin with David Nage

I loved getting to sit down with David Nage - principle at Arca and host of the Base Layer Podcast to discuss the role of Institutional Investors in the crypto space.

He comes from a family office background and really outlined the hesitations some of these larger investors may have to start investing in crypto - and how they are addressing that at Arca.

It was pretty interesting to hear his perspective on hardware wallets and how people that are looking to put millions or even billions of dollars don’t have a lot of peace of mind with something that looks like a USB stick.

We also chat about the key factors for attracting more of these investors and what their driving motivation is to actually consider making Bitcoin part of their portfolio.

We also chat a bit about his podcast - The Base Layer and how he’s using that as a tool to help educate these larger investors to help them feel more comfortable entering the space.
