I didn't watch the whole thing but it is interesting that some of this tech got patented and that the Japanese companies were so interested in it. I'm not saying this guy didn't get notoriety and credit but I feel like there are a significant number of people out there working on revolutionary stuff but never get the proper funding and runway to completely change the world. It's like they are right on the cusp of it.
