El fiordo última esperanza es una extensión de mar que está ubicada entre la costa continental y noroeste de la península Antonio Varas al sur de Chile, específicamente en la patagonia chilena. En esta navegación logramos ver desde glaciales a fauna marina y el majestuoso Cóndor, saliendo del puerto Boris, muy temprano comenzó nuestro día sobre el catamarán del grupo 21 de mayo, el cual nos permitió arrancar la jornada con un majestuoso amanecer.

The Last Hope Fjord is an extension of sea that is located between the continental and northwest coast of the Antonio Varas peninsula in southern Chile, specifically in Chilean Patagonia. In this navigation we managed to see from glacial marine fauna and the majestic Condor, leaving Boris port, our day began very early on the catamaran of the May 21 group, which allowed us to start the day with a majestic sunrise.
Muy temprano a eso de las 7:30 AM ya nos encontrabamos cerca de la embarcacion o catamaran, en invierno amanece a las 10 AM en el sur de Chile, nuestro viaje comenzo como a las 9 AM por lo que pudimos observar este increible amancer que nos deslumbro por varios minutos, entre rosas, naranjas, amarillos, morados y azules; simplemente magico.

Very early at about 7:30 AM we were already near the boat or catamaran, in winter it dawns at 10 AM in the south of Chile, our trip began around 9 AM so we could observe this incredible sunrise that It dazzled us for several minutes, between pinks, oranges, yellows, purples and blues; simply magical.

Se hizo toda la navegación, pudimos ver dos glaciares, el Balmaceda y Serrano; además pudimos ver lobos marinos a lo lejos, Condores y las imponentes torres del Paine, algunas caídas de agua e imponentes montañas llenas de nieve de un lado a otro, la verdad era como estar en una película con alucinantes paisajes. El costo de la navegación que además incluye whiskey fue de 70.000 CLP moneda chilena, aproximadamente 90$ americanos, los precios varían dependiendo del servicio que ofrecen, este era el más sencillo.

All the navigation was done, we could see two glaciers, the Balmaceda and Serrano; We could also see sea lions in the distance, Condores and the imposing towers of Paine, some waterfalls and imposing mountains full of snow from one side to the other, the truth was like being in a movie with amazing landscapes. Este lugar es increíble y no podemos dejar a un lado el calentamiento global y crear un poco de conciencia sobre sus implicaciones, todos estos glaciares llegaban al fiordo y con el paso de los a;os han retrocedido notablemente, es una pena, ojala y podamos entender los humanos el daño que estamos haciendo antes de que sea aún más tarde. Por lo pronto me quedo con lo bueno y hermoso de este increíble y poderoso paisaje patagónico y antártico. Feliz fin de semana. ❤

This place is incredible and we cannot put global warming aside and create a bit of awareness about its implications, all these glaciers reached the fjord and over the years they have receded significantly, it is a shame, hopefully we can understand humans the damage we are doing before it is even later. For now I am left with the good and beautiful of this incredible and powerful Patagonian and Antarctic landscape. Happy weekend. ❤
