The Diary Game: Invigilation day at Peace Home(10/10/22)
It was 6:30 am and I was already late for School, the traffic was going to hinder us. My dad had his stuff already ready and he was calling out my name, asking wether I will be leaving home, and did what we call in local pidgin "halla" so as he began to shout I just rapidly got ready so I could hop into the car and then set for the journey.
I went down stairs for mum had cooked some food and I had to slot some into the flask for the driver, she says the guy will feel very hungry through out the day so, he needs to have something to eat.
Today was the 1st day of the Sequence exams ,we arrived the campus at about 8:00 am and it was the beginning of the 2nd paper of the examination in Peace Home academic complex, the children from Form 1 right us to form 5 are writing their exams. There was a little scarcity of invigilators because of the ongoing teachers seminar which has coincided with sequence assessment.
I had to just fit into one of the classes and then invigilate the children.
I really don't know how primary or even secondary school teachers take care of their students it's very very strange because this children don't follow any instruction , they don't get anything ,I was forced to show them my wicked side of the face before they adjusted a little bit.
We invigilated up till about 2:00 am when the last paper was written.
Immediately the paper was over I set my self to ascend to the 5th floor of the school, since it is actually uncompleted, I could have ample space and freedom to engage in my afternoon prayers, I went up and under some very few minutes I engaged in fellowship and when I was done I thank God with a little song. Then took my bag and went down from there. As I came down I met with my friend and brothers , we communed together and ate some small thing to cool our stomachs because , I was really quite hungry.
When we were done we set out with Daddy to go collect his shoes, from the shoemaker in Biyemassi , though the shoemaker was not available.
We then headed back home.
We went to take our rest , ate a meal as some people came to visit also, so they shared the meal.
At 11pm I took my Bible and studied a few chapters from the word and then began my prayers which by God's grace always has to end the next day.
I was really tired so I took my phone and in no gym I was drowning and snoring.
The day was filling I quite enjoyed the children though, I don't know how they can be so annoying yet nice to be with.
