Toast to 12 years of A Golden Friendship and still counting🥂🥂

Hello fellow steemians, so today I got up and realized that it has been twelve years since I met my friend and sister Marienette who I call Marie.
So we met twelve years back, that was in form one, funny enough on our very first day of secondary school, we got aquanted. She came very late to class and as a result she couldn't find somewhere to sit, so she walked around looking for where to sit but other students refused seeing as most of them were already 3 on a bence so adding one person seemed impossible. Then luckily she got to my bench and we were only two, when she asked to join us we were reluctant because she looked really big and intimidating at the time, but then we felt bad for her and accepted her.
From that day we became friends. She was a very hard working person and very friendly. So it was so easy to get along with her, we always studied together and always challenged each other.
So we were benches till form four when we were separated as she went in for sciences and I went in for arts series. My decision to do arts didn't go well with my friend she was so angry with me that for the first term of form four she didn't even speak to me. It was after some serious convincing that she understood my choice and accepted it, we kept on being friends and studies together especially on the sunbects we had in common.
We continued being so close till secondary school was over, we both decided to go to the University of Bamenda, I went to study transport and logistics and she went to study Mathematics as she had always had a strong passion for that. In the university we grew apart as it was very difficult to see each other sometines it took more than a year without us seeing each other on the same campus. But regardless we kept communicating and decided to make time for each, final year came and we both made it out of the university ready to face life

She is now a renowned mathematics teacher and a GCE examiner and I am super proud of her. We live in the same town and make it a habit to see arch other ateast one e every month.
She is so far the best friend I have ever had we have our problems every now and then, but we always put our differences aside and work things out. She is one person who always tells me off when I'm going wrong and always does her best to support me in every way possible and I love her very much.
