The Diary Game 21/09 /2021:Reunion with my Grand and her family after more than 15yrs

Hello my good people it's another beautiful day and I'm very happy to share with how my day went.

So as I told you guys I'm still in yaounde and it's a few days to my exam, I have read until I don't know what to read again. So while leaving the village my grandma after I told her I was coming to yde sent some food stuffs for me to come and give her sister here. Since i arrived I have been calling her tirelessly to no avail then, unexpectedly yesterday morning she called me and explained she has been having issues with her phone and we agreed to meet the next day.

I got up very early by 5am, immediately I made my bed and went to the bathroom to do laundry, by 6am I was done and took my bath and from there I went to the kitchen to and warmed the beans I had cooked the previous day and ate with some puff puff made by me neighbour friend.

By 9am I left for my aunt's house and bare 15mins later I was in her neighbourhood, on reaching there the place looked so different but I could still remember the road to the house, I followed my instincts and went down till I got to a point where I was confused which gate the house was I pondered for about 15mins and finally decided which I believed was her house and behold I made the right decision. I knocked and her daughter who unknown to me had been impatiently waiting for me immediately came and opened the gate and hugged me so tightly it had been ages.
We went in the house was completely different, the old structure had been demolished and two new structures built by their father, the house was very beautiful. We went in and discussed. She told me ahe had been married and has four kids now, I didn't meet the kids because they were in school already. We did a lot of catching up and spoke literally about everything and some moments later her mom arrived with the same level of excitement rushed and hugged me and we went directly to the kitchen to assist her prepare food for her restaurant we chatted while cooking, we prepared so many different dishes,eru and different fufus, rice and chicken sauce, fufu and njama, okok, okra. And by 1pm were were done cooking and she asked me to eat anything I wanted I ate eru and fufu it was so delicious, my aunt had always been a great cook and has been in the restaurant business for more than 25yrs now.

After eating, they took their baths and we all came to her restaurant and there I met her other children who came to greet me, with their own kids as well, and by 3pm all her grand children came back from school and I was able to meet all of the first time. We all chatted and by 4pm she served me fufu and okra which she knows has always been my favourite food and it still was I ate and some moments later I bid them Farewell, it was a very sad moment because they all wanted me to spend the night with them, bu I explained I wasn't prepared to do so, then I left and came home.
It was a very wonderful reunion.
