Hello good evening to you all. How are you all doing today. Today is a special day and I hope you all enjoyed your day. I hope you are fine tho. I am here to tell you how my day went.On a Saturday morning, I woke up early around 3:33am. I started preparing to go to the mosque by performing ablution and doing nafila. I went to the mosque and we finished praying around 4:30am.It is a day of celebration. We celebrated the 78th annual maulid. Maulid means celebrating the birth of prophet Mohammed.

The girl in the middle has a different uniform from us. She is the leader and we are the flag bearers. Early I the morning at 7:00am, we are supposed to dress and prepare ourselves for matching. We will match and roam almost all the roads in our area just to inform them that we are celebrating the birth of our beloved prophet tonight. They always say Ghanaian time😂. If a Ghanaian tells you to come at 7:00am, come at 8:00 or even 9:00am. So as we were Ghanaians, we started roaming around 10:00am and finished around 12:00pm. I then decided to go buy food. Tiredness and hunger 😭.

In the evening, around 10:00pm, everyone will gather at miliky fast food or legion to celebrate. Both men and women. My Arabic school is made up of both boys and girls. Some of the old students were even invited. The celebration starts at 10:00pm and ends at 4:00am. It is a very long something but we like it and always enjoy it. It gives us joy even though there is a lot of stress in it. I was the one wearing black and white as you can see me in the first picture. This is what we called match pass. We will match, arrange ourselves and sign the anthem of the school, dance small and back to our various positions.

I am the second girl here. At this point, we changed clothes and that was the time for dancing. We have 6 different groups and we all have our dressing code. Even the old students participated. @mukka was one of them. The also danced and matched too. Some of us will be selected to also do Hadith. Hadith means the teachings of the prophet. You will have to come and talk about what prophet Mohammed spoke about when he was still alive. Some of the things he did and the things that was haram for him. We had a great but stressful day.
