The Diary Game [09/09/2022] - Rainy and Flood Day in my community

Steem greetings and welcome to another edition of #MyDiary.
The early hours of the day were very cold but this didn't stop me from waking up at 06:00 AM to clean the inner part of the car, clean the shoes I wore the previous day, shower and prepare the kids breakfast before they left for school. Two of my kids go to school by school bus while I drive my eldest son to school at 07:30 AM.
I had fried eggs, bread and tea before taking my son to school. On our way to school, we met some heavy traffic that forced us to try an alternative muddy road. This slippery option finally made us to arrive my son's school a few minutes after 08:00 AM.
After dropping him, I drove to the car wash for the car to be cleaned. At the car wash, I celebrated my 10K Candy crush level.

Drove to the office from the car wash. Wasn't feeling too well. When I got to the office, I couldn't do anything and so I decided to just relax on my desk and rest till 13:00 when I felt better and drove to the market to purchase my children's text books.
Unfortunately, it started to cats and dogs when I just got to the market. I couldn't even get out of the car. I waited for the rains to cease to no avail. I drove to a nearby restaurant for lunch. My health conditioned worsened and I had to take some emergency medications (Omeprazole and Antagex.) I had chicken and fried plantains after my medicines and then drove to pick up my son from school. Got to my son's school at 16:00 under the heavy rains. On our way back home, there was a terrible flooding. This made us to take another alternative muddy and slippery road that got us home at 16:45. On my way back from home, the flooding had reduced and I mustered courage and drove through the flood.

When I got back to the office, I did a few online stuff and then took my laptop and drove to see a friend. Talked with my friend for a few minutes and drove back home. On my way home, I stopped and bought some plantains, Accra, plums and an avocado.
Got home at 19:03 and had some hot chocolate with accra. I was feeling weak and laid on the sofa only to realize it was 01:00 AM when I woke up and wrote this post.
