Skiing video from Yesterday’s practice
XC Skiing ⛷️ yesterday at Western Colorado University Practice Field was amazing!
Can’t believe I’m living a childhood dream. Growing up in Cameroon 🇨🇲, I always admired skiers on Hollywood movies especially when they skied downhill in front of an avalanche lol.
When my mum sent me on an errand and I wanted to go really quick, I used the power of imagination to convert two branches into ski poles, dust on the streets into snow, and flip flops (two rope slippers) into skis to glide through the dusty streets of my community. The feeling of skiing in the dust was very satisfying.
Been feeling very proud as a Mountaineer that I got the chance to live the reality of one of my childhood dreams. The ski ⛷️ experience was unforgettable and I look forward to more skiing till I become a pro.
