Cross Country Skiing ⛷️ at WCU Practice field

What a beautiful day today in Sunny Frosty Gunny. Went for XC Skiing ⛷️ and it was wonderful.
Can’t believe I’m living a childhood dream. Growing up in Cameroon 🇨🇲, I always admired skiers on TV especially when they skied downhill in front of an avalanche lol. When my mum sent me on an errand and I wanted to go very quickly, I used the power of imagination to convert two branches as Ski poles, dust on the streets into snow, and flip flops (two rope slippers) as skis to ski the dusty streets of my community. The feeling of skiing in the dust was very satisfying.

Today, I felt very proud as a Mountaineer that I got the chance to live the reality of one of my childhood dreams.

The ski ⛷️ experience was memorable and I look forward to more skiing till I become a pro.
