Step by Step Procedures on how to Prepare fufu Corn.

Greetings and happy new months to all my friends in steemit platform. Today I spend sometime trying to cook one of my favorite and something came to my mind that I should share with you all. A lot of people out there sometimes love to eat fufu corn but do not know how to go about it. It’s simple and today I will be sharing with you a step by steep procedure on how to prepare fufu corn.

Fufu corn is one of the staple food of the western highlands people of Cameroon. Its derived from maize transform to flour before it’s been prepared. Fufu corn is one of the best dish with Kati-Kati in bamenda loved by many. But the question to many is how do we prepare fufu corn?

Firstly when cooking fufu corn we need to first put cold water into the pot cover and leave it to boiled.

While it’s there sometimes it’s good to sieve the flour then mixed a small quantity of it with cold or hot water.

When the water is boiled, we reduce the water and leave a bit according to the quantity we want to prepare then put the small one already mixed in the pot.

Staring of fufu corn

After putting we stare it for sometimes until it starts to bubble then we cover the pot and leave it to boil. After like 5 minutes we can as well still open the pot and stare again so that it should not remain under the pot.

At this time we now put the dry flour to the pot and turn it well to mixed.

After turning so well we add some water to it(hot water) then close it again. When it boils like another 5 minutes we open and turn it again depending on the texture we would want.

Fufu is ready

If we want it soft we can turn it when there is still much water but if wanted it hard then we leave the water to dry a bit. After this stage the fufu corn will be ready to eat.

To remove from the pot some people would prefer to use but rap end papers or use natural banana leave.

The best of its kind

Using the leaves it’s always advisable to warm them on fire then clean it before putting the already cooked fufu. This one taste the best as believed by many. Some people prefer just putting it direct to in pans.
