Hello great steemians, it’s been a long time, I have missed you all so bad. It’s been three long weeks of absence, so much activity from the overall busy body. The story time is long and sweet but I will try to cut it short. Started with my junior sister’s wedding on the 23rd and 26th of August, to my Boss coming into the country to the restructuring of our work program at the pharmacy and more.

Like I said it started with my junior sister’s wedding on the 23rd which I did not get to attend because I was expecting my Boss to come in around those days, despite not being physically present, I was so distracted at work because I was present and actively participating virtually. It was a beautiful day and all passed successfully. Then the next day was Wednesday, realizing that my Boss wasn’t going to make it till Friday which was the day of the Civil and White weddings I then spoke with him and he granted me permission to travel early enough so I can be present for the second and third part of the occasion so I took off for Bamenda on Wednesday afternoon and got there on Thursday morning hoping to do my hair and nails and round up my preparation for the big day which was going to be the next day. It rained cats and dogs from 1pm till night I don’t know what time but I gave up and went to sleep with not even a thing done. The next day my day had to start off early because we had to prepare some dishes and chewables to supplement what was already planned for the day and get to do my hair and nails. I succeeded to do all but at the expense of being actively present at the council and in church for the ceremonies. I was only seen at the reception, twist of the story I was her chief bridesmaid, how shocking right?!

I made sure that my presence at the banquet hall was going to cancel out all my earlier faults and I got it all right. It was a successful day. I then visited a few relatives and took off for Yaounde on Sunday afternoon so I could be at work on Monday in preparation for the coming of the Boss who finally came in on Tuesday morning. We had a lot of work to do, since he came in with the USA command we had asked for, we had to check the stock, enter it in the pharmacy inventory and shelve them, which alone took us 2 days to do. We finally rounded up with the first set and the second set came with which we encountered a little difficulty because there were no lights on the day it arrived but we got through with it still. The Boss then told us of his intention to run the pharmacy 24/7 which we all agreed to and he then had to recruit two more workers to make it effective and smooth. So my program was adjusted and I have to start working mostly at night.
In all this time I was so ashamed that I did not keep my word to my new mentor @fombae, at least now that I am back I hope not to fall back again.
