Steem for betterlife | My diary game for the weekend from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th Septmeber 2022

Hello great steemians! How are we doing? Welcome to another edition of my weekend diary game, I am so excited to share my diary game of the weekend with you. It has been a bumpy and very long weekend and it started on Friday. So on Friday I had to move into my new house.

I woke up at 9am because the baby thought it was fun to play and make noise all night and only sleep at 4am, I said my morning prayer as usual, prepared breakfast for two and went to the pharmacy to sign in and carry out my task of the day. Then I left to check my new house to ensure that all was set for me to move in that evening, then I mopped the floor and went back to finish packing up my stuff. Packing up stuff to move is not an easy task as one needs to take extra care of fragile items and the bulky items do not make it any easier. Long story short I put everything together and we left for my new house at about 6pm. By 8pm I had arranged the most important things; my bed room and my kitchen were all set. I took my bath, bathe the baby and off to sleep we went. The next day was Saturday, I had an ophthalmologist appointment in Yaounde for the baby so I woke up said my little prayer did what was necessary and took off for Yaounde.

We got there in good time, we saw the specialist and turned in the eye drops which he had earlier instructed me to return to him at my next visit and he prescribed a test which we did and it was unsuccessful because the baby did not want to cooperate even for a minute. So he went ahead and prescribed lenses to protect her retina. He said the lenses were specialized and made only for albinos and that they were not found in the country so I had to make a deposit so a command could be passed and that the lenses will cost 105000 frs.

I Iooked at who had to wear lenses for 105000frs when she can hardly permit a cap to stay on her head, after going brainstorming with my husband we decided it was best to wait till she is reasonable enough to know the lenses will be for her own good, before we buy the lenses. I finally left the hospital at about 3pm boarded a taxi for entrée simbock hoping to buy her food there, when I got there, not only did rain beat us well but the quantity I wanted was out of supply. I had to buy a small pack to last at least a week before I can check again. We ended up passing the night at my junior sister’s place because I could not travel back with all the wetness. We then left early Sunday morning so as to be able to catch up with the 9am mass at Awae Village, and we succeeded.

The rest of the day was spent fetching water. Then I left the baby with my colleague and went off to work for the night.
