I believe it has to be collective effort of community in this direction, which would make a significant impact. However, I can play my role in my community though participation in following strategies to forge a gender-equal world:

• Raise awareness and educate people: One of the most important steps towards gender equality is to educate people about the issue. This can be done through various means, such as workshops, seminars, webinars, social media campaigns, and public lectures. The goal is to create awareness about gender inequality and its impact on society, and to encourage people to take action to address the issue.

• Promote gender-sensitive policies: We can work towards promoting gender-sensitive policies at the local, regional, and national levels. These policies can include initiatives such as gender quotas for political representation, equal pay for equal work, maternity and paternity leave, and the protection of women's rights. These policies can help to reduce gender disparities and promote equal opportunities for all genders.

• Advocate for gender diversity and inclusion: In order to create a gender-equal world, it is important to advocate for gender diversity and inclusion in all aspects of life. This includes promoting women's participation in traditionally male-dominated fields such as science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), encouraging men to take on traditionally female-dominated roles such as caregiving, and supporting the LGBTQ+ community.

• Challenge gender stereotypes and norms: We can challenge gender stereotypes and norms by promoting positive role models and creating a culture of acceptance and respect for all genders. This can be done through the media, education, and public awareness campaigns.

• Support women's empowerment: Empowering women is a key component of creating a gender-equal world. We can support women's empowerment by providing access to education, health care, and economic opportunities, as well as by creating safe spaces for women to express themselves and advocate for their rights.

• Foster an environment of respect and tolerance: Finally, we can foster an environment of respect and tolerance for all genders. This can be achieved through public education campaigns, workplace policies that promote diversity and inclusion, and community events that celebrate diversity.

I believe, our society is still a male dominant society with patriarchal mindset and lot is yet to be done.

👉🏾 Can celebrating Women's International day increase visibility and equality?

Yes, celebrating International Women's Day (IWD) can increase visibility and promote gender equality. IWD is celebrated globally on March 8th each year, and it aims to recognize the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women and raise awareness of the ongoing struggle for gender equality.

Here are some ways that celebrating International Women's Day can increase visibility and promote gender equality:

• Raising Awareness: International Women's Day raises awareness of issues that women face worldwide. Through events, marches, and social media campaigns, people can learn about the challenges that women face, such as gender-based violence, the gender pay gap, and the underrepresentation of women in leadership positions. Raising awareness can lead to action and change.

• Empowering Women: International Women's Day empowers women by providing a platform to share their stories and experiences. By celebrating the achievements of women and highlighting their contributions to society, we can inspire other women to achieve their goals and break down barriers to gender equality.

👉🏾 Are the Feminism fight and the Women’s Rights fight the same?

Feminism and the Women's Rights movement share many common goals and objectives, but they are not exactly the same thing.

Feminism is a broader movement that seeks to achieve gender equality and dismantle patriarchy by addressing issues related to gender, power, and social justice. It encompasses a range of different perspectives and ideologies, including liberal feminism, radical feminism, ecofeminism, intersectional feminism, and more. Feminists seek to address a range of issues, including gender-based violence, reproductive rights, workplace discrimination, and representation in political and cultural spheres.

The Women's Rights movement is a specific historical movement that emerged in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with the goal of securing legal and political rights for women, including the right to vote, own property, and work outside the home. The Women's Rights movement was focused primarily on achieving legal and political equality between men and women, rather than addressing broader issues related to gender and power.

While the Women's Rights movement was an important precursor to the modern feminist movement, many feminists today argue that it was limited in its scope and failed to address issues related to race, class, and sexual orientation. For example, the Women's Rights movement often excluded women of color and working-class women, and it did not address issues related to reproductive rights and LGBTQ+ rights.

In summary, while the Women's Rights movement played an important role in advancing women's legal and political equality, feminism is a broader movement that seeks to address a range of issues related to gender, power, and social justice, and is informed by a variety of perspectives and ideologies.

👉🏾 What do you say about women in top positions like Presidents, Parliamentarians, Senators, CEOs (Chief Executive Officers), and COO (Chief Operations Officers)? Give possible examples in your country(community)

In the context of gender visibility and equality, having women in top positions such as Presidents, Parliamentarians, Senators, CEOs, and COOs is a positive step towards achieving gender equality. When women hold these positions, they become visible role models for other women and girls, encouraging them to pursue leadership positions themselves. This can help to break down gender stereotypes and create a more diverse and inclusive society.

In India, there have been some notable examples of women holding top positions in government and business. For example, in 2017, Ram Nath Kovind was elected as the 14th President of India, with his predecessor, Pratibha Patil, having served as the first female President of India from 2007 to 2012. Additionally, India has had several women serving as Chief Ministers of various states, such as Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal. Sheila Dikshit was CM of Delhi and Mehbooba Mufti was CM of my native state of J&K. Least but not the last example is from my family, my sister-in-law is a member of district development council and is currently political head of our district.

In the business world, women have also been making strides in leadership positions. For example, Nita Ambani is the Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, and Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw is the Chairperson and Managing Director of Biocon Limited, a biopharmaceutical company based in India. Chanda Kochhar, who was the CEO of ICICI Bank, is another notable example of a woman in a top position in the business world.

Overall, while there is still a long way to go in achieving gender equality, having women in top positions is a positive step towards breaking down gender stereotypes and creating a more diverse and inclusive society.

👉🏾 What makes a Good Leader (Gender or merit)

A good leader is someone who is capable of inspiring, motivating, and guiding a group of people towards a shared vision or goal. Gender or merit alone cannot make someone a good leader. Rather, it is a combination of factors that contribute to effective leadership.

In terms of gender, it is important to ensure that leadership opportunities are available to everyone, regardless of their gender identity. This means creating an environment that is free from gender bias and discrimination, and actively promoting diversity and inclusion. When women are given the same opportunities as men to lead, they can bring unique perspectives and skills to the table, which can help to create a more innovative and effective organization.

However, gender alone does not make someone a good leader. It is also important to consider merit - that is, a person's abilities, experience, and qualifications. Good leaders have a range of qualities, including:

• Vision: A good leader is able to articulate a compelling vision that inspires and motivates others to work towards a common goal.

• Communication: A good leader is an effective communicator, able to listen to others and convey their ideas clearly and persuasively.

• Empathy: A good leader is able to understand and empathize with the needs and concerns of others, and is willing to take action to address them.

• Integrity: A good leader is honest and trustworthy, and holds themselves to high ethical standards.

• Adaptability: A good leader is able to adapt to changing circumstances and is comfortable with uncertainty and ambiguity.

• Collaboration: A good leader is able to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with others to achieve shared goals.

Ultimately, a good leader is someone who is able to bring out the best in others, and who is committed to creating a positive and inclusive organizational culture. Whether male or female, leaders who possess these qualities can help to create a more productive, innovative, and successful organization.
