Steem Cameroon Best Day Contest - 09/04/2021

Hello everyone,how are we all doing,today I present to you an entry of my best day contest,
I believe a best day contest has to do with that day of the week which you think was the most amazing and special day of the week,that day which you could wish that you turn back the hands of time just so you can witness that day again.
Well as for me, my best day of the week contest is an #actofkindness day which was on the 9th of April Friday...

You might be wondering what made this day my best day of the week ...! Well it's been a long time that I actually gave out my food to an entire family and well prepared by me. On Friday i woke up and i decided that that particular day since I wasn't going to school I will try my best to make it worth the day.. then later I got a call from my boss,that's the C.E.O of Kuma productions studio saying that he is bereaved. So I asked shockingly who he had lost and he said the mother-in-law and he was going to be travelling to the village immediately.. then I consoled him and asked what about the kids .. especially the little twins .. whether they where going to be going to the village with him too at babessi northwest region of cameroon considering the fact that there is a political instability in the region, but rather he answered by saying that thats the reason why he called, he wanted me to come stay with the kids and take care of them while he was away .. he took all his kids with him except for his second child and last two twins kids out of the six children that he had.. when he said that I was atleast happy that I could help .. it was like my prayer that day was answered in terms of looking after his kids.

I then wondered what I could do to make the day more worth it.. I had prepared rice earlier and made some groundnut soup, it was really much for me.. the bosses house is just linked to mine and we are like niegbours.. he is very close to me .. the studio is installed in one of the rooms in his house..
So I took my bath and also I heat the food again and made sure that it was really warm .

. I got too medium size flask and poured the groundnut soup in the smallest size flask dish while i served the rice in the bigger flask dish

.. I put it inside a back and gentle took it to his house ,the joy in my heart was too much .. when I got there the two twins where playing around so I asked thier sister to take off thier dresses so that we can wash and feed them ,definitely i was temporally the official father of the house. So we got the kids well cleaned

and then we rubbed them put on their dresses and thier sister dished the food for them..

tears stood in my eyes looking at how the kids where eating.. it was one of the best days in my life.. I was so happy and what made it even more sweet is that later in the evening their father called and when we were talking the twin little girl just shouted on phone .. "daddy,;Daddy ... Rex Gave Us Rice"

And their father was so so pleased and happy that I could do this .. from that time till now I still can't forget "Friday April 9th"
That was my best day of the week
