My diary game; 31/12/2024: Celebrating New Year..Eve.

Hello everyone, Welcome to my blog. I'm equally excited to be celebrating this New Year Eve with you all. It was an amazing encounter and I enjoyed the colorful Moments i was able to experience outside there.

Getting closer to the evening, I got a call from my auntie asking me to come have a meal with them as they want to be available in town for the new year celebration. A perfect way to begin with, I told her, I will be available as from 8:30 p.m. In the evening.

As time passes by, I make sure I get my stuffs ready and round up With my Home chores before venturing on this ride to my auntie's place. By 8:00 p.m., I was already on a bike to have place. It's like 15 minutes ride but due to the heavy amount of traffic I encounter on the way it's supposed to take me rather 30 minutes.

Speaking of which exactly 8:30 p.m., I was already in their compound. I stood there for a little while to reply some chats before getting insights to greet everyone and wish them a happy New Year in a bit. The kids they are also amazing and equally happy to see me.

To make the evening more interesting, I was served some Nice dinner and some cold wine with ice blocks. My menu of the evening was garri and eru. A common traditional meal come on in my area.

After my meal, I discussed with my auntie for a while, An equally watching the presidential speech for the year 2025. It was an amazing speech and new budgets were drawn For the year 2025.

This took like some 30 minutes before it was complete. Church is supposed to start at 9:00 p.m. exactly, which is the crossover service. It is a common right between Christians to celebrate the eve of the new year in church. This is commonly categorized by a variety of activities so just praise and worship, and ministry of anointing + and lots more.

I took a bike from my auntie's place straight to church. Open arrival, the anointing was already going on as I was still caught up in traffic. On my way back. I quietly took a seat from the back while Waiting for my turn to receive the anointing.

Finally , my line from the back was caught up for anointing, and we moved in a straight line so we reached the front of the alter. The pastor then administered anointing, And we move back to our seat. It was an amazing encounter as church service continue with worship and praise. Waiting for 12 midnight to reach.

Finally, it was 11:58 p.m. that evening + everyone was ready with the candles. Light up to cross over into the New year.

Equally minutes started counting as everyone begin chanting and shouting while hugging our loved ones and celebrating them once more for making it through 366 days until another new year. It was amazing until the clock read 00:00 a.m. And dates 01/25. Everywhere was full of shouting and chanting with explosive work in action. It continued like that for at least 30 minutes.

Eventually places come down and we had our benediction and everyone left church excited as the pastor wishes each and everyone a Happy New Year..

At the church junction, I took a bike equally straight to my place. This was already around 00:45.a.m The morning When I reach home, I quickly put my stuffs away and dressed up in my night while before taking a proper nap. It was an amazing encounter and I am equally excited to be celebrating the new year.
