The Diary Game: 20-24-2024 [Guiding My Dad Through He's Steemit Intro Post]
Hello Friends,
I'm going to be talking about my day but firstly I want to thank the @steem-cameroon team for everything, and I've finally made up my mind to do just #steemexclusive contents here in our community. I didn't just make this decision because it's what I want only, but because it's what is best for the community and all.
Apart from that, I'll also be setting @steem-cameroon as 10% beneficiary for this post 🙏
Alright today, I'm not going to stick to my normal way of markdowns. That is, as I've been doing in my previous diary games. This time, I'm just going to be straight forward with everything I say.
Okay so I woke up this morning and I knew my day was going to be digitally busy one because, today is the day I officially created my dad's Steemit account.
Okay so the thing is, I actually created my dad's account two days ago but today is the day I made it official as, today is the day I guided him through his introduction post.
Doing this task with my father today wasn't really stressful as I anticipated. And I think the reason is because, two days ago I explained everything to him about Steemit and he understood very well because, he's actually versed with such things. So the only thing I set up for him was just the paper with he's account username, date of post, and the word "Steemit"
Before writing it, I had an earlier writing error because I was writing with a pen which was not very steady. So after the error, I used a marker instead while turned out really well as you can see.
After writing, we went outside to take the picture of him holding the paper, and it went quite well too
After finishing with the picture, we went back into the house so I can transfer the pics to his phone, and prepare him for writing. So when we got inside, a friend of mine was passing by the house with a bag of salt and another of some drinks. He came into the house and said I should come and help him let's carry together because it was too heavy for him. So, I just told my dad that let him just excuse me for some minutes, I'll be right back. I'm someone who believes in generosity so much, and that's why I immediately helped without a blink of an eye.
While going, I met my little bro and he just joined us. I also gave him the bag of salt too 😁. We took a photo together which was really funny how our faces were because of the sun 😅
With that been said, when we reached my friend's home, I saw a very beautiful view for taking some sky photos and I immediately picked up my phone 🤳
After snapping, I and my younger bro headed back home, and my dad and I continued with what we were doing.
I told him how to start introducing himself, and also thought him some basic markdowns he could use on his posts. So when he finished writing, he put all the necessary hashtags, but made the mistake of tapping the post button without letting me review it first. I collected the phone from him and reviewed his writing and everything was fine but, when he was mentioning me, he said @princekeys instead of @princekeyz. @princekeys was my first account which was not really in a good state and that's why I created the new one, @princekeyz. So, when I tried to edit the post, I ran into a resource credit problem, so I just let it be. So I went into the room and started watching a season film with my brother. We watched the film till about 4:00pm
After the film, I went out to take some fresh air and I just took a photo of how the street was dry due to our two weeks lockdown which is finally ending today 🙏
After taking the photo, I sat outside for a while and got back inside to get some rest. So I had a nap 😴 from 4-6pm, and when I woke up, I immediately started with what I'm doing now which is writing my diary game.
I'm happy I've shared this with y'all, and I hope you will share yours too
