The day I defended my thesis
It's the day of your thesis defense, and you're feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. You've worked hard on this project for months, and you're confident in your work, but you know that the committee is going to ask tough questions.🫨
You arrive at the defense room early and set up your presentation. You take a few deep breaths to calm your nerves, and then you're ready to go.😬
The committee members introduce themselves, and then you begin your presentation. You start by giving a brief overview of your thesis, and then you dive into the details. You explain your methodology, your findings, and your conclusions.😗
The committee members listen attentively, and then they start asking questions. You're prepared for most of their questions, but a few of them catch you off guard. You take a moment to think before answering, and you do your best to address their concerns.😛
After about an hour of questions, the committee members retire to deliberate. You wait outside the room, feeling anxious but hopeful.🙂
After a few minutes, the committee members return. The chair of the committee tells you that you have passed your thesis defense with flying colors. You're overcome with relief and joy.🤔
You thank the committee members for their time and consideration. You also thank your advisor and your loved ones for their support.💪
You walk out of the defense room feeling proud and accomplished. You've just completed a major milestone in your academic career, and you're one step closer to graduating.😊
The real question is “what next????”😅😅😅😅
