My Dairy Game: How My Saturday was (18/1/2025)
Happy weekend to my dear steemians and friends from this great community. It's been long I haven't told you my daily activities. Sorry for that. Hope you missed me... How are you doing? Hope you are meticulously following your 2025 plans. Good.
My weekends are always very exciting for me because as a teacher, I will rest a bit, although other activities outside school community will keep me busy. Saturday was not an exception. I write this post to tell you how my Saturday went. It was full of engagement. Enjoy reading.
In the morning, i woke up very early by 5am, knowing that I had a lot of activities to engage on. After my morning prayer to thank God for the gift of life, I started with cleaning the house because my work didn't allow me to clean the house. I go out in the morning and come back late in the night. I had to mop all the floors in the house with detergent and hypo to kill germs. It took quite a long time to finish this.
After mopping the floor, I washed a few clothes I will wear to church the next day(Sunday). I was exhausted and had to relax with a breakfast my wife prepared for me. After then, I went to the bathroom to have a bath to freshen up By 12.30pm, I finished my morning activities. To God be the glory; my house had a fresh smell.
I was invited by my church member to attend introduction to her traditional marriage. Traditional marriage in this part of the world takes steps. The first step which is as important as marriage itself, involves a parlor talk between the two would-be family members of the couple. The event was billed to take place by 2.30pm. Before I left for the event, I had to guide my son to do his assignment from school. It was fun sitting with my son, PraiseGod to teach him quantitative reasoning.
The boy picked up immediately; he was smart.
Immediately after homework with my boy, I left for the marriage. I spent my afternoon engagement there. When I arrived by 3pm, it was a little bit late. The event had begun already. The two families and friends were already seated.
It was a nice moments seeing a lot of people I haven't seen for donkey years at the venue. Miss Blessing and Mr. Victor were accepted by family members to be engaged to each other. When the celebration ended I asked one of the guests to snap me and the celebrants.

I came back home around 6pm. I was tired but I had to watch Arsenal vs Aston Villa's Premier League match. It was shocking that from two goals down, Aston Villa had to equalize (2 v 2).

I love the moment I watched an organized football.
I came back home around 9pm to unhanged the cloth I washed in the morning and then showered before relaxing in bed.
Before I slept by 9.30pm, I had to post my Saturday's engagement. That was how my Saturday went. It was a fulfilled day.
