The Diary Game: Have you ever gone to church on Palm Sunday and realized that you are the only with Palm fronds 🌾 in church? This happened to me today 🙈😂: by @ngwerast: 10/04/2022

Happy Palm Sunday to you all great steemians. Today I will be sharing with you how I spent my palm Sunday of the year 2022 and how a little funny it was, because I was invited by a friend to worship with them in their Church (Christlife Embassy Church Douala).

Morning session.
Part one:
I woke up today at 7a.m alittle late this morning, because I slept late. I was feeling kind of lazy to leave my bed, even though I knew i had to boil beans for pounded Irish before going to church. Nevertheless, I finally left my bed after praying, went straight into the bathroom to brush up. When I was done brushing, I went into the kitchen, wash the red beans I socked in water the previous night and put on the fire 🔥 to cook. At about 7:45 a.m, I prepared bread and tea for breakfast. After my breakfast, I ironed my dress 👗, went into the bathroom and took my bath. It was exactly 8:15a.m, I switched off the gaz cooker and dressed up for church.
On my way to church, I bought my palm fronds 🌾 for 100f(long size). At exactly 9:15 a.m, I arrived church.

Part two:
Now this is the funniest part of the day 🤣😂😂🙊. Upon entering the church gate, I saw Christains outside without palm fronds 🌾! 🙄 , I said to myself, might be they didn't find the time to get their palm fronds. So, I proceeded inside the church and still saw no christain with Palm fronds 🌾🙄. Rather, everybody was looking at me somehow🙄, I went in, took my seat. I kept my palm frond🌾 on the floor, under my chair, turned to my neighbor on the right, greeted him and asked "this church does not celebrate Palm Sunday"?😳🤔, He responded and said "they don't come with Palm fronds, but they recognize Palm Sunday". I was like okay ooo 🤔, I now understand why everyone is looking at me this way. I was looking so odd and had this shy feeling 🙈🤗, like how can I be the only one in church with Palm fronds 🌾 on a palm Sunday!..... When church service was over, I hurriedly picked up my palm frond 🌾 and left. On my way out, I remember the pastor said we should connect with other people, make friends and exchange contacts. So, met this lady out side the gate. I introduced myself, after a short talk with her, we exchange contacts and took selfies and pictures. See below;

Afternoon session.
I arrived home at 12mid-day, after changing my clothes, I went straight into the kitchen to continue with the cooking process I left before church. The meal for the day was pounded Irish and beans. Since I had boiled beans in the morning, I took Irish potatoes to Peel. After peeling, I switched on the gaze cooker, put red oil in the pot, fried onions and pepper until it was brown, then i washed the potatoes and added. After 5minutes, I washed the already boilied beans and added. After 30 minutes, it was now dried and ready to be pound. See below;

My grandmother always thought us that every traditional dish is eaten with fingers. As you can see from the picture, I am using my fingers to enjoy it.

The evening session of my day was just calm because Eneo had done what they know how to do Best (ceasing light.)🥺🙄😢🥵. Due to the extreme heat, I went to bed.
