The diary Game Sunday service 31/10/2021

Hello beautiful people on steemit am glad to be sharing my diary of today's church service with you guys. The service started at 9:30am with procession from the English choir, my entire family went to church cause there is a saying which goes thus "a family that prays together stays together".

We had a song from the hymnary 535 stand up stand up for Jesus, the first lesson came from the book of Rom 2:1-11, second lesson came from My 7:1-5 while our text for the day was derived from Is64:4-9. Since it's festive period, the liturgical color is Green and our theme for meditation was "Repent And Do Right" . The preacher made us to understand that many of us are good at judging others for their wrongs but don't see our own fault s. The preacher made use of men as her example and I quote " many men in our society are busy with divorce cases against their wives for infidelity but but are you sure you are not guilty of the same infidelity? you want to remove a piece of wood from someone 's eyes when you have a whole log in your eyes how do you see the piece of wood in another's eyes when yours is blocked? You want to only blame your spouse without realizing you are worst. Confess and repent , make Amens with God and fixing your homes".

After our preacher was done, there was offering, giving of tithes , announcement , and child presentation from a member of the halleluya's choir, and then benediction and then recession.
The Sunday service was so inspiring and touching I thank God for his mercies upon our lives for our short comings. Thanks for reading guys see you on my next post
