The Diary Game: Been a Hectic and Traumatizing week For Me
Hello Lovely Steemians it's nice talking to you all again. With all the uncertainties in life we've got to always keep our heads high and stay positive because with all the dangers and negativities we still can make a change. How?- by building a life and an atmosphere of positivity , and good thoughts around us.
Firstly I say my week has been hectic and traumatizing because so much has happened before now coupled with the incident I'm about to share with you now.
We just traveled back from Yaounde to Bamenda with plans of resettling here considering my Mom's job, very high cost of living there, dirty water supply and so on. With all these, we saw the need to make a move though we moved because of the insecurity in Bamenda that was at its peak some years ago.
We finally came and during our stay here for not up till even two weeks I guess
My brother was caught by a cheap bomb explosion at a quarter here in the Nkwen Fondom.
He was on his way to the barbershop to balb his head when the explosion occurred luckily for him he wasn't too close to where the initial bomb was placed but some meters away. God being a great God after the explosion we got a call from the hospital that he was wounded and had lost a lot of blood.Hearing such a frightful and unpleasant news we all rushed out in confusion and headed straight to the hospital were an operation was to be carried out immediately.Yeah his case was crucial but with God everything is possible.
He had a successful operation and was on anesthesia for 3days without food. And being a witness to all these I couldn't eat aswell because I was traumatized and worried about him. The greater part to all these was that we never spent a dime for hospital bills because all the bills were covered by the red cross a Foreign NGO.
God has really been awesome and I'm really grateful for the life of my brother because he went through really though times while at the hospital he even started eating only after the third day with instructions from the by Doctor though he eat just little bit at least he ate something.
I had sleepless nights just for his sake we all wanted to see him pick up again.
He went through some minor pains but as they say no pain is temporal it may last for a week , a day or even years but will eventually subside.
I thank God because he is fine now and strong enough to do a lot by himself. I didn't take any pictures of him because I was so traumatized while at the hospital and didn't see it necessary but I promise on my next write-up I'll do well to upload photos. Thank you all for listening, stay blessed and have a Wonderful day.
