Celebration of the INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL CHILD 2021 in Collaboration with Steem

The feminine sex is the power of any economy. Be it your mother or wife she started as a girl child and will definitely grow into what training was given to her. Like any other child, there is power in what knowledge they recieve, what they listen to, even the T.V programs they listen to all at a tender age. The woman carries us all in her heart with the strong will love we recieve In her head as she thinks of our well being, have we eaten, are we clothed, are we sick, are we tired and many more.

International Day of the Girl Child is an international observance day declared by the United Nations; it is also called the Day of Girls and the International Day of the Girl. October 11, 2012, was the first Day of the Girl Child. The observation supports more opportunity for girls and increases awareness of gender inequality faced by girls worldwide based upon their gender. This inequality includes areas such as access to education, nutrition, legal rights, medical care, and protection from discrimination, violence against women and forced child marriage

MAIN FLYER ANNOUNCING THE EVENT

This Celebration challenges us all to take part in doing what is right towards yoing girls. The statistics show girls are likely to be cut off from activities than boys, what a sad scenario when these girls become mothers and wifes to host the community tomorrow.

For this edition, Dance for Development is celebrating girls in partnership with Steem through dance. Everybody is capable of moving to music! Dance transgresses the barrier of age, gender and culture. Dance is part of the fabric of every society. As millions around the globe move to the rythms of their choice, they perform one of the most universal gestures too. The International day of the girl child seeks yearly better strategies to inspire and challenge the girl child and community respectively towards common growth. This year the celebration theme is: Digital generation, Our generation,

This world-wide course of action requires a little spice to make it more interesting. This is where D4D sets in with DANCE. Girls need exposure,free expression, interactions,a place in jobs, tech or entrepreneurship; all these with no bias or favouritism. The fact that dance is non-verbal communication, an accented form of expression and social interaction make ittruly unique among activities that gather people together.

INTRODUCING SPEAKER ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Through this project Dance with a girl, the girl child is chanced to;

-Express her feelings
-Boost self-confidence
-Keep-fit through dance sports
-Interact with her outside world

While on the other hand; anyone called upon to dance with a girl is chanced to;

-Motivate these girls
-Encourage and develop the ideas of girls
-Stay Healthy too
-Give them the needed connections to success.
In all, expect happy and motivated girls with a community right beside them at the end of the
project.

With technical support from @peacemaker the agenda will be on dance choreography and 3 speakers drilling our audience on how to become young entrepreneurs. The progarm is going to run for 2 hours on Saturday 09th 2021 some days before the world wide celebration of the 11th October.
@Steem-cameroon is going to be actively part of the program introducing steem the girls and creating accounts.
