Graduation from the University is certainly something that brings much joy to the graduate and definitely family or well-wishers.
In one month time I will be eligible to have a Bachelors of Engineering in Civil Engineering and Architecture fro. The National Higher Polytechnic Institute of the University of Bamenda. This is going to be one of my big achievements in life.

The process started in 2018, 4 years program with lecture notes in the classroom, months of internship, field work experiences, assessments, evaluations and more. I will say its been a tough period spending sleepless nights and waking up very early. But also its been exciting making new friends, creating connections on the field abd most importantly getting knowledge which will serve nations.
My 4 years program ends soon with the Defense of a project. For the past 3 months I have been on reaserch phase gathering information, doing background study and developing something new fir the University of Bamenda my topic was given as Technical study and Design of a 700m road stretch in the Bambili community. It has been 3 months of applying all what I have learnt to the least details. I am at the editing phase as most if the design principles and typing work have been done. The work is promising.
Sample Prototype to be Produced
With the help of my supervisor most corrections and suggestions have been done.
I am equally supposed to produce a prototype of my work which will help the jury if my defence and the university community understand what I was doing and how it could be realized.
Surveying of the Road Stretch
So far, i have invested over 200,000Frs in the entire project;
- Laboratory tests
- Traffic Studies
- Payed online articles
- Printing draft copies
- Traveling out of town for some test results
This is not the end as I am still to print the final copies of the work and design my prototype.

Having this sum of $123(14SBD) by the end of this month of September will greatly help me to complete my project. I plead for support from the steemit team to get to the top.
From this point, I can already be awarded construction contracts for buildings and more. I will equally apply to do a Masters of Engineering for 1 Year after which I will be a full Engineer.
