The Diary Game: 06/07/2021: unlucky Predator

Hello dear steemians, I'm about unveiling how my Tuesday 06th of July 2021 was. I trust this post reaches you guys well.

Dear Diary,

In the Morning

I woke up today at 6am and as usual I just stayed in my room. I didn't even think of going out of my confinement trying to figure out what my next move will be. I was listening to worship songs by Min. Theophilus Sunday and Lawrence Oyor. It was at about 10am when the sun began shining, coz in this rainy season it has been wet all day in Dschang. I was still in the room when my kid bro got into the room panting and saying "snake snake snake" so I asked him where it was and he said beside the gate.
Immediately I left the room and headed outside, got a stick and went to check if it was really a snake. And behold it was a brown snake of about 1.1m. I stood there and began pondering how I'll kill it since it was really hidden and I couldn't see the head but only the body.
After some mins, i asked boy to call for @ngongha😂 and he stood at a distance and asked is it a big snake? And we answered yes, his reply was amazing. He just said, bye😂😂😂
Boy and I began laughing, while in the laughter I moved forward and smote it so hard with a first strike. It got real wounded on the body and brought out it's head, but without hesitation I gave another strike on the head. When I noticed it was quite impotent I now carried it out to finish with it. I had hit the head till it became flat, but it was still moving its tail.
It was at that moment I remembered our vertebrate zoology lectures in level one 6years back😂 and I remembered the impulses run from its tail to the head and back then I hit the tail and it was over for it.

When the snake was immobilized, @ngongha then came with his phone to snap😅 I asked boy to bring my phone out too. Then I left it there and went back to my room. Mommy came back and burnt it.

In the Afternoon

I was in the room and decided to do some laundry before heading to church for the word encounter. I was ready at 4pm and left the house for the church. Today we were taught on The benefits of redemption and we saw that there are 7 benefits of redemption from the verse

Revelation 5:12
[12]Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

I'll expatiate on that another day by the grace of God.

In the Evening

I left the church at 7pm and headed home where the semi finals of the Euro 2020 was going on. The match fixture was Spain vs Italy. And I was in support of Italy. The match was real tough when Chiesa scored the first goal for Italy and 20mins later, a substitute Alvaro morata equalized for Spain. Making the match go through extra time and penalties. Unfortunately for Morata, he couldn't convert his penalty into a goal and the last kicker for Italy, Jorgino the Chelsea midfielder converted his own penalty into a goal separating both sides and leaving Italy qualified for the finals to be played on Sunday.

At last

Finally we, @ngongha, my other bro and I began watching a movie at 10pm but he slept off before the movie finished and I asked them to go to bed as it was already midnight so I could pray before joining them. That was how I called it a day. Thanks for reading through, God bless you and Shalom ❤️
