Knowledge is power! It's always a mistake to celebrate a feast without fully understanding what it Stands for. It can make us to celebrate false deities. No matter what you choose to do, it is your choice! But my aim here is to give a clear background of what we call "valentine's day"

Let's begin subtly😅

Everyone knows that we celebrate love on valentine's day, but when you ask the majority of people what it signifies and why they celebrate, you'll get a silence in return. As usual, we just want to celebrate and follow a trend as much as we can!

Where does valentine's day come from?
It's not an American Holiday, neither is it a Christian holiday. Many people think that it is a Christian holiday because it was named after a "christian" saint by the Roman Catholic church. But the truth is that valentine's day was made by the Roman Catholic church to "christianize" the pagan celebration of lupercalia

What was this lupercalia?
This was one of those most ancient Roman festivals which was celebrated every year in honour of lupercus (god of fertility) who also was known as the god, faunus. This feast was characterized by orgies, fornication, sex with minors, drunkenness and other very hideous stuff!
This faunus god was having the head and torso of a man, but the hindquarters of a goat with horns on the head.

The guy was considered as the symbol of fecundity because of his lustful nature. This feast was done yearly on the 15th of February and they would sacrifice goats and a dog. The place of the sacrifice contained an altar where all was done and the blood of these animals on the forehead of the priests (luperci). They were 2 of them who were the founders of Rome. You can research if you're doubting😂 as wuna like for over Sabi so!

The reason why they chose the goat and the dog was because of their strong sexual instinct. Which made them the most appropriate sacrifices for this! Now what do the priests do? They then covered their loins with the wool of the killed goats and ran throughout the village with canes. They whipped the women both girls well well😂
The strike from this cane was supposed to make the woman fertile. And funnily, most women came out to be beaten. Also, the pregnant ones also came to receive grace to deliver smoothly.

Let's dig a little bit deeper now, the lupercalia feast is directly linked to the ancient Greek festival of arcadian Lykaia, and also the worship of PAN. Infact lupercalia is the Roman form of worship of the Greek god, Pan

Now pan can be traced to the sun god, Baal. It's getting interesting right! Hold on I'm coming

If you've read your bible and done some studies, then you'll understand that Baal is one of the names of the man called Nimrod. This guy is a guy of many names according to the mythology and the coming of the great deception. He holds about 15 names among which are : baal, Orion, gigamesh, Ra, Osiris, Marduk, Adonis, Dionysus, Mithra...

The Lupercalia which is now called valentine's day was a day to honour a man called Nimrod in Rome! That's what we call paganism😂
I'm tempted to end here for today so we continue tomorrow😅. See you and hope you're ready to hear the end. I have like 3 days to write this! God bless you❤️🤗
