#CLUB100 | THE DIARY GAME | BETTERLIFE WITH STEEM (13/08/2022) : RAINY Weekend with Interns

Hello beautiful people, I'm here again with my diary of Saturday the 13th August 2022. A day filled with rain and relaxation at my place of work.

Dear Diary,

I woke up this morning at my usual 5am and had my devotion, then took my bath and prepared for work. I didn't take a pullover out for work today because it rained in the morning before i left but little did I know it'll rain again.

I arrived my workplace safely at 7:50am, I opened my lab and began fixing stuff before going to pray. We had our devotion and I left back to my lab. There came my intern, I chatted with her and we exchanged how her brother was doing and the feedback was good. He was not put on oxygen any longer and he was responding to treatment positively.

We began receiving patients but they were few! after having received 4 patients, no one came and it was only 10am, and the sun was coming out a little. so the intern and I went out to bask a little. The other intern who is in the maternity joined us and I carried the doctor's child to allow her work a little.

At that moment, rains were still threatening to fall and we saw a new set of people enter, and who did I see? It was still my intern's parent with the lil sister and she too was sick. We rushed back to our lab and waited for the blood and the medical booklet. The nurses had to reduce her temperature so while wanting to pass the drug, they collected the blood.

We received the blood and ran the tests, and it showed that she had severe malaria and typhoid, thank God she was admitted already. They administered the necessary drugs to her and there she was. It was now 12pm and i had to pray but i had no free space to pray, i just groaned within me but i needed to be ventilated. So after sometime, i yell a little to feel better, i did that and my time of prayer was finished.

I left my lab to the ward where Grace-Sindy was. Her sister, Linda my intern was with her already and there was serious rain outside. I went there and began discussing with them from 2pm, we watched videos on my phone till it was 4pm my closing time, i went back to the lab and cleaned everything and locked the lab. But the rains won't allow me to go back home. so after discussing with some nurses, i decided to go back to that ward.

I was feeling extremely cold and remember i didn't come with my pullover to work today. We sat there chatting with my intern and explaining some stuff then their parents came in to visit the little child. We sat there together while they chatted and it was already 6pm, i was still waiting for the rains to drop so i could get back home. You see why i need to get my car right!

I finally left at 6pm and began rushing to my house. I arrived at 6:10pm, had no data, and rains increased, then i cleaned some stuff and then fetched water from the rain and heated the rice to break my fast. I was so tired that i was knocked out at 7pm while listening to a message which i continued to listen even in my sleep.

I finally woke up at 11pm to find 4missed calls, 2 from @b-naj and the other two from an unknown number. Remember i had no data nor airtime to chat them up! I immediately got up and blessed the name of the Lord, studied my bible for an hour, and the next 3hours of the night was for prayers. That's virtually how my day was and thank you for reading through!
