THE DIARY GAME:29/10/2021

Hello steemians...it’s been a really really long time .
Dearest diary...let me write how this week was for me.
I didn’t have school on Tuesday and I was home when I got a job opportunity. I rushed back to school to take a permission card so I could be absent for these 3days that is Wednesday to Friday ...the pay was really good and I saw it as worth being absent from school. The job was to be a hostess for a seminar organized by ANTIC (National Agency for Information and Communication Technology).

We were 3 of us selected to participate but I knew I would meet other girls there..so I was really looking forward to knowing who the other girls were and what they looked like...when I got there I didn’t expect it to be people I know but I met my other model colleagues and I was like 😲😲😲😲small world huh ‼️ But I was glad it was people I knew and how easy it will be working them. We had so much fun and we also did our job very very well.

There was always enough food and drinks and water ...it was so comfortable so much that it didn’t really seem as work.

First thing in the morning when I arrive...I change into the attire that is the T-shirt and heels.

Then I arrange the hall...remove all empty bottles of water...sweep the dirt out...reorganize the chairs and make them look orderly then go outside to a table infront of the hall and put some bottles of sanitizer and packs of face masks..For anyone coming to attend must sanitize and put on a face mask before entering ....by 7am I am often there but later when the nurses come I leave the work to them

After I handed over to them shortly after is breakfast or coffee break.Then the others and I go to the restaurant and serve breakfast 🥞 🍳 to the people and make them feel very comfortable .When everyone is done eating..then we have our own meals and head back to the hall to assist during the seminar....whenever anyone needed anything or help or assistance we were just nearby to assist. Some people were very rude I guess cuz they thought we were just serving and we had to comply but others really seemed to be nice and they appreciated.
I met a lot of new people such as journalists,graphic designers, teachers and many other important persons.I got to make friends and be of service to people far older than I am.
The seminar was very educative..while attending to others I learnt a few things as well.
Such as how to fight cybercrime and cyber insecurity and who to call when u find yourself being blackmailed or scammed on social media.
I think sending out such informations and putting more laws against cyber crime can put and end to all the scammers around 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️....I just hope these people do what they have to do In order to help the current situation of scamming.🙏 it’s getting out of hand...all age groups and both gender are just feeling free to harass anyone on social media or ask for money for certain things even spoiling online businesses and making it hard to trust anyone.
All in all,the seminar hostess was an amazing job even though I came back with pains on my arm cuz I carried some crates....but I pressed it with warm water and applied medications....it was a great and a first experience for me but it was all worth the time and efforts.
