Steem Cameroon Best day Contest - 12th August, 2024

In life we have very great days and some not great enough days and even bad days sometimes. Every day with its different emotions. This last week has been full of great emotions for me, from closing the term and going for holiday to having a wonderful sit-out with my colleagues. But the best day that stood out for me was my birth anniversary.

My birth anniversary was on Friday the 9th day of August and I would say it was the best day for me. Prior to my birthday, I wasn't really financially great like I wanted to be. But the 9th of August started really well for me. It started with a vote from steemcurator 01, which made me happy. It looked more like a birthday gift.

I woke up quite early and I received calls and messages from my Mom and friends, it made me feel happy. They all reminded me that I was birth for a purpose, and I should look forward to a great future.

Though it took my birthday to get such encouraging messages, but it made me really happy and exciting knowing fully well I have people who mean well for me.

After doing a few chores at home, my brother @davidmarkgeorge took shoots of me in the uyo township stadium, Akwa Ibom state. Wearing a Manchester united jersey for the 2024/2025 season, though not an original from the club. The cloth is actually beautiful and as a fan of the club, I needed this merchandise.

I took quite a lot of pictures and my brother helped me edit them. I had a lot of friends who wished me well and that made me excited.

In that spirit, I also went to the market to get some ingredients to cook food at home. Pepper, tomatoes, meat, rice etc are all things I got from the market.

I went out to the mall and then my best friend called me to come out for a sit-out with her, she got me chicken and chips with carbonated drink. It was a great time out with her. She paid for everything and we all went home.

The day wouldn't be complete without my family. So I personally prepaid rice with stew using the tomatoes for the family. We had a great meal and family time.

I had a pleasant and beautiful day all over. It was great hearing from my family members, friends, colleagues and well-wishers day prayers to me. And I also had some cash gifts from my boss.

It was the best day for me, because I had time to reflect on how far the journey has been. I also had a great time with my friend and I also cooked for the family while having a great moment with them.

This is my best day!!
