Topic Of The Week "DIVORCE"
what is Divorce?
it is a legal agreement between couples to part away.
How has it affected Me?
The word divorce is a new generational term that on it has a positive effect and a negative effect on couples' lives and society in general.
with the term divorce, we no longer give a second thought about a lasting marriage, as we see a male or female been divorced about 5 to 6 times which doesn't show a moral standing, most especially among our "celebrities". This could be as a result of who earns more money rather than the ideology that "we are now one body".
This and more facts about divorce have conveyed a negative ideology about why we have "Marriage"
A Poem about Divorce
so this could be us
laying on a separate bed
with hearts turned against each other
like the parks of pigeons and crow birds
which can never flock together
so this could be us
with hands so eager to sign the divorce papers
no smiles, no teasing. You're even crossing the T's and dotting the I's
where did our love go?
who did you give your heart to?
you said you knew me better
to spend the rest of your life with me
no matter the weather
so what went wrong?
was there a spell on your tongue?
did I do wrong?
I was only richer some months ago
and I can be much richer as we go
you've shown a sense of swindling
and a myopic proof of womanhood
not only indoors but also in the neighborhood
Your popularity
isn't a necessity for this divorce
it's a test of your competence
and I'm willing to lend a shoulder
in good times and hard times no matter the border
this is not the love spell we had
the fun, glamorous ceremony and jacuzzi warm bath we shared
Your bank account
is proof of your capability
not the head of our home
I have always loved you
and the euphoria you bring
I have always adored you
and the charisma you portray
I have dreamt of our babies' unborn
and the future as we grow old
and you will ever be my ex-dear wife
but to hell with the spell cast up on you

In cleared term I get to like your divorce definition , indeed it a legal and an intentional agreement . But strongly on either of the concerned couple to part away. Which still as same as legal agreement to part away by given couple.
If one has nothing to loose you succumb to it, but it all starts with one partner to path away.
