Rest, Reflection, and a Heartfelt Sunday Experience

I am amazed about today being the last Sunday of the month of January. A lot of people said that this is the fastest January in its history and I couldn't agree much. 😂

Though I couldn't make it to church because my doctor asked me to rest after the indigestion the other day. I took the day off yesterday from everything and I rested. So, the rest extended to the early hours of today.

After the hours of church services, I went out with a friend who's camera shy and didn't want any picture but then it was still amazing. Like, getting to meet her was fun. She's a nurse, so she needed to see how I look after what I went through the other day. We had a lot to talk about and one of the things we talked about was marriage.

Since we are both of age and unmarried we decided to talk about how it feels to live like this.

From our ends, there's no pressure at all but I've seen families who pressure their children especially the girls to get married. They pressure them to the point that they end up getting married to the wrong people.

I think having an amazing family is one of the greatest blessings ever. A family that understands you and loves you so much. A family that roots for you.

Aside from the drugs she brought from her clinic for me, she bought me ice cream too and I had such an amazing time together.

There was so much to talk about that we bid each other farewell by 8pm. It took me 30 minutes to reach home. I had a shower and here I am telling you about how my day went.

Though I didn't do much today, I am glad that I am okay now and someone took me out. I am not the type to go out a lot.

Tomorrow is Monday and I hope this new week brings us a lot of beautiful things that our heart desires.
