Steem Cameroon best day contest 14/07/2021

Sunday 11th was my best day of the week. Nothing much was really happening throughout the week apart from the fact that I finished my exams, came back on steem and was just resting in my hostel. I am still around the school area and haven't gone home yet because I still have to submit the final copies of my project. The week just almost passed quietly then boom, Sunday came with a whole lot of food to eat and fun. Yes it was my best day of the week most especially because of food. I had been stressing up because of my exams and project and when I finally dropped the pen in the exam hall, I really needed to eat the quantity of food I ate on Sunday to cover up for the stressful days that passed and other days that i didn't eat at all. I normally do not eat on Sunday before service bc it always starts really early and I am usually lazy to make breakfast that early because of time. So, It just became my style not to eat on Sunday morning. I got up that Sunday and my junior sister had made breakfast fried potatoes and egg or should I call it French fries and omelette?.

Well anyone you deem necessary. I ate a full plate and went to church. The service was good but its not about the service this time. After service, I visited @peacemakers. The best decision I made that day. He had to mentor me more on steam about things I still didn't understand the last time I was there. After the discussion, we popped corn

and started watching a movie then boom power went off. Now that's my country with electricity problem. That didn't spoil the fun because we started playing a game which was the latest comedy in Cameroon called "fufu di go with all thing" . We got corn fufu from the neighbour and we tried it out with many things. Corn fufu and holandia,

corn fufu and pop corn, corn fufu and vampur

before finally eating it with its original compliment huckleberry. I ate pop corn, fufu huckleberry and chicken, one full holandia and I left his place with my stomach as big as a warehouse. Thats not all my fellow steem mates. I went to my friend's place in Bambili verina just to be with her that evening before going home at night it was cold so I wore her pullover. She bought two plates of rice from a girl who does home delivery. My stomach was full but my mouth was not tired my people.

I still ate a whole plate of fried rice and chicken. Spent sometime gisting with her and left for my house in the evening. I took my bath, fell on the bed and only got up the next day around 11. That was the most relaxed, fun, chilled and "foody", if that's even a word, day in that week. To think it was the last day of the week. When I thought all hope for that week was lost.
