SPOKEN WORD POETRY WITH @janicenini WEEK THREE. LOST IN MY LAND

Hi dear steemians. I bring to you spoken word poetry week three. Its about a Crisis situation in my country and my experience during the cornflict. I really don't always like to explain it. I just let my pen do the talking. Though its short, it speaks for alot of people.

Lost in my land
I am still lost in the last ruins of this version you built
I am still walking around
Wondering with no sense of direction at all

And the rain pours damn hard
At that corner where it all started
But, in the comfort of crumbling remains
I stayed

Lying there like a crumbled piece of paper
Where you first wrote your lines on
I stayed
Waiting for you to rebuild my walls and wishing you had never destroyed them in the first place
I stayed

Asking myself, thinking over and over again
WHY?
Why am I the one left roaming along the grey?
Why are you the one hunting me?

Why am I the ghost that is pinned down to this town that you made?
Why are you cold like the waters of the early morning, running down my skin until I lost what I had gain?
Dear clouds
Please stop raining on me
What can i do to make the storm ho away
What can bring peace and agreement on the angry waves
UNTIL WHEN?
Until when will I once again feel the joy in my land?
Until when will I once again feel a blissful smile on my face?
Until when will I stop fearing like I have done some sort of crime?
Until when do I have to hide everytime?
And YOU are the land I am stuck in
