The Dairy Game: 25:09:2021/Last Exams as a PHD Student

Greetings dear people of God. How are we doing? I hope all my fellow steemians are doing great and we are keeping ourselves busy especially during this lockdown. I wish to share with you all my dairy of Saturday 25/09/2021.
So I had slept very late on friday because I was reading at night, preparing for my comprehensive exams, it is an exam written by all PhD students of the University of Bamenda who pass all their courses during the first and second semester. It is the last exams which introduces us into research work and anyone who fails it doesn’t continue to the next level. With this at the back of my mind, I had to do my very best so that I can make it . I have been studying for the entire month so I just needed to revise again for the last time, in this regard, I woke up at about 3:am to conclude with my revision.When i woke up, I said my prayers and turned on my phone and the first thing that caught my attention was a copy of the exam communique that had been sent on our class forum again to further remind us about the time as late coming wasn’t going to be tolerated.

After reading this again, I took my notes to revise, this time around, i was more focused on answering all exam past questions in preparation for it . I started with legal research that covers 40% of the total exam mark and after that, I revised civil law that is my specialty and it covers 60%

I read until about 6:30am when i had my bath and went to school with my friends using a taxi since private cars had been banned. We got to school at about 7:45am and 10 minutes after we were asked to go into the hall and take our seats. We wrote at the Cast campus opposite the faculty of law and political science building. When we got in, we were asked to switch off all our phones and keep our materials outside. The first course we wrote was legal research. It was good as all the previous exam questions that I had revised came. We wrote from 8:am to 11:am and at 12pm to 3:pm we wrote the second paper .
When we finished, we went outside with happy faces because the exam was indeed moderate, i had a few discussions here and there with some classmates especially those who had to travel back out of Bamenda. After that, one of our friends who had brought his car to school carried us and we used the road leading to Cast to drive out of school, it was already more than 4pm at this time

He dropped me at mile two junction since he was going to upstation where he stays and i went to church for choir practice, my choir had to lead the liturgy during the first mass the next day which was Sunday and we had to do our last rehearsals. Practice ended at about 6pm and i went home to rest for the day.
That is how my day was spent
