The Dairy Game :18:09:2021: The legal birthday cake

Hi there! Kindly receive warm steem greetings from me as you read through my dairy session of Saturday 18/09/2021.
On this day, I woke up at 6:am together with my elder sister so that we could cover a birthday cake we had baked the previous day, this particular cake meant a lot to my sister because it was her husband’s birthday cake and so the main ingredient we used throughout the baking and covering was nothing else but love ❤️ . He happens to be a lawyer so our aim was to portray his occupation through his birthday cake. The colors we used were black, white and gold and we made captivating features like the law symbol that represents the justice and law books at the side of the cake too.

We were done with the cake by 11:am so i had my bath and went to church for the funeral mass of one of our neighbors who had died two weeks ago. The family members had asked us to dress in white because according to them, they were celebrating the life of their father who accomplished so many things while he was alive and ensured they all achieved their dreams . He has a son who is a priest so the alter was populated with so many priests including the Bishop of Bamenda as well who all came to celebrate the mass with him.

The mass ended at about 2pm and we went to the funeral ground for the burial, he was laid to rest at the Bayelle main mission although only immediate family members were permitted around the burial premise because they wanted it to be very private, the rest of us just had to stay behind and wait, when they were done with the burial, we went to the hall opposite the church for reception

I didn’t stay at the reception since i had to join my sister and her husband for his birthday. So by 4pm, i went back home and changed into a casual outfit and when i was done, i left the house with my sister together with the cake to Rims City Launch at cow street , when we got there, we called him over and he came, he didn’t know we had planned a surprise for him so he was so happy when he got there and realized everything. We presented his cake to him and sang his birthday song after which his friends prayed for him and wished him well and the birthday cake was later on cut by the birthday boy.

After that, we had drinks to celebrate the day with . We left at about 8:pm back to our various homes .
