The Dairy Game: 17:09:2021/ My first Accra Beans Trial

Greetings lovely members of this incredible platform. Trust we all are good and staying safe during this lockdown period for those of us here in Bamenda.
So on Friday 17/09/2021, I woke up at about 6:30am and meditated briefly in my room. Later on, i went into the kitchen to prepare breakfast for the house, i had been craving accra beans for quite sometime now so when I went into the kitchen and saw washed koki beans up at one of the counters, I didn’t hesitate to quickly remove some and suck in water so that it could get soft for me to grind afterwards. After about 30 minutes, I sent my cousin with it to grind with some onions and licks that i included in it and after that we poured it into a mortar where i steered continuously until it was high

After sometime, I poured hot oil into a fry pan and began frying , it came out even better than i expected considering the fact that it was my first time trying it.

I shared it with everyone that was available
at the compound and we proceeded to the next thing for the day which was to cover a cake baked the previous night for one of our friends who recently travelled abroad. It was her 30th birthday and so my sister and i wanted to surprise her with the cake by baking and taking to her family house at mile 4 Nkwen so that her kid and sisters could enjoy her birthday in her absence. We decorated the cake using black and white colors which happens to be her favorite colors. She was so happy when we sent her a picture of the cake we had done for her on her special day.

At about 3pm, i left the house for a wake keep mass of one of our neighbors who had died and our Christian community was in charge of the singing for the wake keep mass since he was one of our very devoted members. Mass started at about 3:30pm led by the Parish priest of bayelle parish and a host of other priest who happened to be the friends of the late Pa’s son who is a Priest. The priest prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul during the mass and he also emphasized that we should always use such funerals to remind ourselves to always be ready at all times for the lords calling

Mass ended at about 5:pm and reception followed after that, i stayed there for about an hour again after which i went back home to rest for the day. That is how my day was spent
