Kindly receive warm greetings from my end steem family and all the curators. Am happy to be here with you all again and this time, i would love to share my journey experience through my dairy game.
Traveling has always been an exciting activity for me especially back then when i had to travel from Buea to Yaounde for holidays, however, it is not the case again due to the poor state of the roads and if the issue at hand isn’t very pertinent, I wouldn’t travel because the terrible nature of the Bamenda- Babajou road discourages me a lot .
That said, i woke up on this day at about 6:30am and after having my bath and breakfast, i left to mogamo park and paid my ticket. After I had secured my seat, i took a bike to Santa Lucia at melen to get some chocolates for my siblings back at home. When i got there i was a little confused on what particular brand of chocolate they would prefer so I took a few photos and sent to my elder sister through whatsapp to enable them make a pick

They finally selected together with some white mambo which i bought and left back for the park in a hurry to avoid missing my bus .
On get there, the bus was still being loaded so i had to stay out for a while before we were finally called up for our tickets to be cut . While outside, i met a new friend; a Muslim girl who was traveling to visit and take care her dad who is currently sick at the regional hospital. We discussed on how life has been for her especially in Ndop where she lived before and couldn’t continue staying there due to he hardship brought about by the Anglophone crisis.

We finally took off at about 10:am after all had been set in place and as it is the case always in most buses, a man who sells drugs came in and led the passengers in a general prayer for safety and after which he proceeded to selling his traditional drugs that brought about mixed feelings in the bus because while some people confirmed and bought most of the drugs, others were at a condemning angle bringing up stories of how people have died due to traditional herbs . The traffic too served as an advantage for him to sell and convince more people who were yet to believe in his products

The bus became quiet when he dropped after obala and we continued our journey. I was happy there was some quietness in the bus at last and so i could do my prayers which i did meditatively. After that, i slept off until the noise from the bus woke me up again, this time arround, it was as a result of the Sanaga river we were crossing. Whenever I am traveling and we get to the point of crossing this river, most people always get excited seeing it and am not an exceptional case though, i like seeing it too

As we continued our journey, the driver made us so angry because he turned the bus almost into a taxi, stopping at nearly all junctions to carry his passengers. This affected us greatly when we got to makenene because it was already so late such that we couldn’t stop to eat , we just agreed to continue considering the time and the poor state of the road ahead of us too.
When we got to babajou, it had rained and so the road was slippery, we managed and passed through and we arrived Bamenda at 7pm, i dropped at finance junction and continued home with a taxi. That is how my day was spent
Thanks for reading through
Kind Regards
