The Diary Game Season 3 [ Sunday March 02nd, 2025 ]

Hey, it's another weekend as we jump into the third month of the year. It is mid-way into the first quarter of the year, as relooked at the year's objective. It is a Sunday, and it is the day I usually go for sports. Before going to sports, I had to rush to see my mom. She just came back from a short trip out of town. She went for a health checkup, and fortunately, all results were positive.

It is a routine, you cannot visit Mom's place and come back empty-handed. It is part of our culture, you visit your parents. They make sure to park some things for you to go back home with. So, my Mom put some things together for her grandkids. I don't enjoy carrying luggage when I have to take a cab or a bike. But I didn't have a choice, but to carry the bag as most of the things inside were for the kids.

When I got home, I immediately changed to sports. I joined my colleague at the office, as we needed to move along with the sporting kits. We got to the field on time, just like every session. We started by running around the football field. I went around five times before joining others for a body stretch.

This time, I was playing at the right-back position, one of my favorite positions. It was a good match as we had the day by scoring 4 goals to 3 for our opponent. It was a two-hour game, with lots of emotions as the referee was biased in some decisions. We had the game at the end of the day, which was the most important for us.

One of the rules in the game is that when you lose, you have to take a penalty shoot. You will pay a fine worth a crate of beer. Losing is always exciting, as both sides will have to drink from the crate. After the match, others were coming together. I had to rush home to take my bath to attend a meeting with my secondary schoolmates.

Our meeting started at 3 pm, as it was the first meeting after the AGM last month. A lot happened in the association, which needed some explanation from the president. The president was late, but as we will say. Butter later than never.

It was a long meeting, which went into the night. I got home when it was dark already, and my family was watching the FA Cup match. I joined in the support for Man United, which didn't end in our favor. I had my dinner and watched cartoons with the kids before going to bed.
