The Diary Game Season 3 [ Sunday February 02nd, 2025 ]

It was a weekend spent at the Limbe Seaside, with my family. Though not every member, it was a great time. I can't regret the moments here at home. It is a Sunday, many get up to prepare for church service. That is for the case of Christian beliefs, as Sunday is the official day to thank the Lord.
Fortunately, it was my niece's birthday and the grandparents decided to celebrate. As my contribution to the arrangements. I got up early and decided to put the section for the visiting kids. I propose we try having the kids under the tree, which is also close to the trampoline. That way, you have kids in one section of the year, and will not have to play all over. Everyone bought my proposal, and I started by ragging the leaves. Brought the chairs, made a circle, and positioned the tables. Next were the balloons and some other decorations. Some needed me to climb on the trees to tie.
After having everything set up, I had to make sure adults had a place to sit. It was past midday, and I looked for something to eat. I went into my apartment, and I don't know when I slept off. I only wake up when I hear music playing, meaning the event has started. I was in bed while following the program. That starts from the opening prayer to a word from the grandparents to welcome all the invites. I was listening all while still in bed. Then it was time for chair dance, which is very competitive and fun for the kids.
At that moment, I jumped up from bed and rushed outside to watch the kids dancing. It was one of the noisy activities carried out during the event, I no longer continue having my rest. I continue watching the dance game, and the move to saying memory verses. I grew up from a Christian background and one activity we were training. Is to memorize verses of the Bible. So the new game was to ask each kid who could say Five memory verses in a row. From about six kids, only the first was able to get four. It was challenging because you didn't have to repeat, and the other would say two unique things and repeat what the previous kids had said. So it will be disqualified, it is good but I felt injustice to those who did not have the chance to start.
After all, they move on to cut the cake. I watched every activity from my balcony. The cake was shared, and time to eat. I promised my niece, after her birthday.im taking her to the Beach to have ice cream. So, I went in to start preparing myself. I had plans to get some things from town too. By the time I was done, eating was all over and they were ready, waiting for me.
We left the house straight to the beach, and they had ice cream. I stayed in the car, while they took a walk around. They are very happy because they are always going to the seaside close to the house, but not the public side. Here you find a lot of people, who just come and sit alone. I used to visit the site with my friends during my secondary school days.
While waiting for my niece and others to come back let go home, I was following up on the Arsenal match online. Arsenal against Man City, I mentioned in one of my WhatsApp groups. Manchester City fans will be humble this weekend and avoid Arsenal Fans for a while. I hoping for a win, but not a humiliation. Lol. The score made my evening, even kids called me to tell me of the match scores. While the title seems far for Arsenal, we hope Liverpool sleeps at one point. It is not going to be easy, the reason for hoping.
As they were done, we drove back home. I had not eaten yet, so I had my dinner and went to my room. I had some online tasks, including checking entries on the steem Cameroon community. Recently they have been flowing in from Nigerian authors, which we are paying attention to. I might not have time for my blog, but I will not joke with community resources. The internet was not the best, so I decided to go to bed at this point.
