The Diary Game Season 3 [Monday June 17th 2024 ]

It has been a while since I shared my diary game for the past few days. It has not been easy as I had to put a lot together to travel out of town. No matter how demanding your job may be. It is important to take some time off work. So, it is a holiday for the kids and the perfect time to have a vacation from the office environment. I say away from the office environment because it will be extremely difficult for me to be totally off work. Well, I'm wishing for that period when I will be off and no work. I know because of my preparation, I have slowed down some community tasks. Never mind, we are still on track and the community will continue to trend and support all authors. Let me use this opportunity to apologize in case any post is unreviewed or curated by the community account.

It was my first day of holiday, and it was a stressful trip. Traveling at night with family is not an easy task for the kids and me. I got up very tired and it was bright weather in the city of Limbe. Before going to bed, my dad helped me in mounting the Starlink dish on the roof. So I first took a look, because he mentioned that they have strong winds. It was all good and still looked firm.

I had a few minutes of chat with my Dad, then remembered I promised a client to complete a task today. So, I quickly had a cup of coffee for breakfast. While going to use my laptop, I noticed just one plug in the room. if I connect my laptop, then it will be a problem to charge my phone or the other devices. I quickly left for the shop nearby to get a distributor. Limbe is located in the crisis region, but it is not the same case as in Bamenda where I'm based. On Mondays, Bamenda is shut down, which is not the case in Limbe. So I bought the distributor and came back home.

I plugged in my PC and started by sending out some emails before fetching the project I had to work on from GitHub. I finished all the changes and signaled to the client it was all done. It is pending approval and domain purchase. I was done with the office task and decided to join my kids out. I lay under trees while watching them jump around.

It was the evening period, and I had my dinner while watching the Belgium match. Surprisingly, Slovakia was leading the game and finally won Belgium one goal to zero. It was not what I expected, and many soccer fans didn't see that coming. Belgium happens to be among the top teams on the FIFA ranking, and to see them go down. Belgium has great players, and it was a motivation for the Slovakia team in the competition.

After the match, I took my bath and took my seat for the next match. Austria against France, I'm not going to miss it. France has about three Cameroonians in the national team. When I mentioned Cameroon, meaning one of the parents is of Cameroon origin. So, my support for France is different and goes as far as routing them for the trophy.

As I expected, France won the game by one goal to zero. It is a good start and a motivation for any first group game match. The most important three points, and they start thinking about the next three points. It was after the game, I decided to post this before going to bed.
