Youth meet the mayor. Diary game (14/12/22-15/12/22)

Hello everyone. Hope you’re doing well. Well come to my Diary Game. This diary is going to cover my daily activities from 14/12-15/12.

14/12/22.

Alhamdulillah I woke up today feeling very excited about the day. Finally the ‘youth meet the major conference’ is here. I’m very excited to be selected as one of the delegates of of this important meeting. I was overwhelmed when joy when I got the email and couldn’t wait for the day to come.
Finally the day was here and I couldn’t wait to get to the venue of the program. It was hosted in the Tamale metropolitan assembly auditorium.
I wrapped up my morning chores, got dressed and headed straight to the venue. I wore an all black outfit. I love black so much because I think it’s unique, universal and beautiful.

The program started at 9:00am. The mayor was the first speaker. He spoke a lot about himself and how perseverance has been the backbone of his successful political career. He also mentioned the importance of obtaining a higher educational qualifications in being a successful politician.
The most important thing I learned from the mayor today was the importance of taking the into consideration the opinions of every member in all the levels of an organization (that you are heading) into consideration, because most often, information leakages are done by the lower level staff (eg security personnel, janitors, etc) because they’re not treated as part of the organization.
That was a very important lesson for me.

The delegates asked so many interesting questions to the mayor after his presentation and he gave amazing feedbacks.
The Other speakers also delivered amazing presentations. It was a very interactive conference and I enjoyed every bit of it.

When I got home, I was too tired that I could not even watch the World Cup game between Morocco 🇲🇦 and France 🇫🇷. France’s victony was not really surprising and I think Morocco 🇲🇦 and the whole of Africa should be proud of Morocco. They have set a very important record for the continent and we should all celebrate that.

15/12/22.

Today was day two of the youth meet the mayor conference. Today there were so guests speakers. We the delegates had a detailed discussion about youth in politics and entrepreneurship among ourselves. It was a great conversation and I met and shared amazing ideas with amazing people.
Today I took a public transport to the venue because I didn’t have a helmet.

Later tonight I went to another amazing program organized by hopin academy. It was a speed dating program. I met and connected with amazing people.
At the venue they made an Xmas tree with recycled water bottles.

When I got home the mosquitoes in my room also rebelled against me. I thank God that one cannot acquire HIV AIDS from mosquitoes bite. I quickly rushed out and got a mosquito coil. Hopefully it’ll overpower those wicked tiny creatures and I’ll have a good night.
