Diary game (6/12/22). Variety show day in my school 💃 🎶

Hello fellow comrades, I send you warm greetings from myself and my pupils.
Today I have an interesting diary to share with you all. I hope you’ll all enjoy it.

Today when I woke up I could not wait to get to my school, the thought of seeing my pupils again roamed through my mind all morning even before I got to the school.
So after doing my morning chores, I got ready quickly and headed to my school. Because I woke up happy, I got to the school before almost every other teaching staff. But why was I so excited about school today? Lol, it’s simple because today was a VARIETY SHOW DAY in our school.
I am a big fan of entertainment. I love to watch people sing, dance or do anything entertaining . And even much more interesting, I love to be entertained by children. I love to see them do their things without worrying themselves if they’re doing it right or not. They barely care, what matters is that they are doing it and they are happy. Children are naturally fantastic and they effortlessly bring joy to our lives.

I started working in the school only six months ago. Today was my first ever variety show experience with the kids.
The show started immediately after the first break. The performers changed to their costumes, some students went ahead of us to water the dusty floor before we were even there. We marched straight to our playing ground where our seats were already arranged. We sat down listening to some cool afrobeats tunes whilst cheerfully waiting for the real show to begin.

The show began with a thrilling music performance from our entertainment school prefect. He displayed a massive entrance. His whole performance exceeded my expectations, I was overwhelmed and I couldn’t wait to see more

There were so many other interesting performances from the students. They displayed a whole lot of different thrilling performances. From dance groups to singers and even to my surprise, there was a fashion runway😁 all sorts of cat walks were displayed today.

What I did not realize was that, whilst I was singing and having fun in the crowd, my shoes were also having even much more fun in the fun in the dust 😂. My attention flipped to my shoes when the show was over and I was heading back to my class. The nice polished black shoes that I wore to school this morning was now looking like a mad person’s shoes. It had bathed in the dust whilst I was busy dancing 😂

But I was not ready to let a shoe spoil my mood for the rest of the day. I was determined to have the best day.

The rest of the day at school was filled with chanting and praises from joyful students and teachers throughout the whole school.

When school was over,I headed home. I slept till night fall. When I woke up, I prayed and watched the World Cup game between Switzerland 🇨🇭 and Portugal 🇵🇹. As a committed Messi fan, I didn’t want to see Portugal win but I was disappointed. Nevertheless Messi is still the 🐐.

Today was the best day of my career so far. I enjoyed every second in school today and I cannot wait for the next outdoor game in school.
