I actually wake up late today because I didn't go to church today because we had a combine service and it far from me, I wake up around 9am, say my prayer, rearrange my room and sweep my room then I carry my brush and Alo my bathing water to the bathroom, after having my bath I step out to get akra and pap but I guess I was late before I didn't meet up with the lady, she has already finished selling and was packing her stuffs, so I went t back home to warm up the little soup I had in the pot, it was quite little.

But I got to manage, I make garri turn it inside my flat plate and take to the room to eat, and has I was eating o was thinking of what to eat because I was tired of eating, rice spaghetti and indomie, after eating I wash the dishes and wen back to bed, I slept for like three hours plus.

After waking up I was so hungry so I had to dres up and go to the market but I didn't made up my mind on what to cook but has God cook have it, when I get the market I saw cassava I went and asked the woman if she cook sale at least five pieces for me and she said yes but the five pieces will cost my 1000 I pleaded that I have 700 and she agreed to sell for me, I bought cocoyam leaf, I got periwinkle, kpomo and dry fish..

I first of all I wash my hand hand and stared peeling off the back, after peeling it I wash it and transfer it to another basin , I wash my periwinkle, kpomo, fish and steam it , I got scent leaf u prepare scent leaf to vegetable, it optional you use any of them, my neighbor came in and I ask him to help grate it before stepping out and he did, all thanks to him, while he was grating it I wash the pot and also season my ingredients for the asa iwa.

This was after he was done grating them

After grating the cassava I has to squeeze out some water, I mean so starch from the cassava, then I added a little water to it after squeezing the starch out, I put salt and one cube of maggi then I mixed it very well before starting to wrap it with the cocoyam leaf I got from the
Market.

This is how it will look like after squeezing out some starch for it.

You wrap them to the shape of your choice, it can be big, small and even tiny depending on how you like it, I grease my pot with some red oil so it won't get burn easily, I started wrapping them into my desirable shapes, and with one hour plus I was done, I per boil hot water to put, it depending on how you love and prepare your own, some people just put the pot on for and after some minutes they add cool water, but I grew up to see my mom adding already boiled water to it, I don't know the misery behind but I guess I love it.

Thi is when I was done wrapping it,

I already per boil my water, I just put the pot on fire for some minutes then I added my already boiled water to it the my crayfish and my stocks and some seasonings then I cover it and allowed it to boil for some minutes then, I turned it to taste of everything is okay, then I cover it and allow it to cook for another 15 minutes then I added my red oil, I love it oily then my put my vegetable and turn it and cover it .

And allowed it cook for at least three minutes then I put off my gas, the scent was heavenly, I wash all the plate I use in preparing the asa iwa then I went to the bathroom to had my bath because I was really sweating from head to toe, after bathing I dish put to eat .
