Club100.The Diary Game:25/04/2023

Another day, same sun and same God. So many reasons to be thankful. I thank God for another opportunity to share with you how i spent the 25th of April 2023. Enjoy as you read through.

MORNING

My boss was the first to call me that Morning as he could not find his keys to the office. Then, i was the only one with the keys to all the other offices in our office including his. I had to rush from mile 4 to commercial Avenue at 5am to give him the key..

We were to receive Elites of Batibo in our office including the Lord Mayor for the Batibo council.

After handing the keys to him, i went back home to prepare before coming to the office full time. When I got back to the office at 8.30am, i was again sent to ntarikon to go and check if the goat for the program which was to start at 3pm was already being prepared. When I got there, the goat was still standing and nothing was being done.

I gave instructions for it to be killed and preparations should start immediately. I wasted some time there and only left when they had started work.

I headed back to the office where I had files to clear from my table.

On arriving the office, i discovered about 6 people were seated waiting for me. I attended to them. We continued with preparations for the meeting.

AFTERNOON

IT should be noted that the elites were to come from all over the country and by 12pm, those who had not come to town came in, went and booked their hotel rooms and by 2:30pm came to the office for the meeting.

Meanwhile before this time, we had been drinking Palm wine from Batibo at the Balcony with the Lord Mayor while waiting for his village elites to show up.

At 3pm, the meeting officially started.

They had somany topics for discussions and these included a newly constructed water project in the Village.

EVENING

There was plenty of Palm wine, wine, beer and spirit drinks available for drinking. As the deleberations were going on, attendees lubricated their throats with drinks of their choice.

At 7pm, it was time for heavy refreshment. There was so much to eat.

The occasion ended officially at 7:30pm and the Lord Mayor left immiediately because he wanted to Travel down to Douala that same evening. We continued with gulping the wine and beer left.

After this tiring day, i reached the house at 11pm took a bath and went straight to bed.
